Asus Strix GL753VD-GC045T
Zwar liefert Nvidia mit der Geforce GTX 1080 konkurrenzlose Leistung sowohl für Desktops als auch Notebooks, doch nicht jeder ist gewillt, dafür soviel auszugeben. Im Mainstream-Markt steht die Geforce GTX 1050 im Mittelpunkt. Mit der Einführung der Geforce GTX 1050 hat Nvidia wieder mit Asus zusammengearbeitet, um eine preisgünstige Gaming-Plattform wie das ROG Strix GL753VD für den Mainstream-Markt herzustellen. Das Strix GL753VD wird durch den Intels Core i7-7700HQ Prozessor der siebten Generation in Kombination mit der zuvor erwähnten GTX 1050 und 16 GB RAM angetrieben. Wie bei den GL752 und GL702 Vorgängern bleiben Design und Bauweise des GL753 erstklassig, obwohl die Hälfte des Notebooks aus Kunststoff ist und einige Teile wie der Bildschirmdeckel aus Aluminium. Druck- und Verwindungsfestigkeit bleiben großartig. Das minimale Nachgeben sollte sich nicht bzw. nicht negativ auf den 17-Zöller auswirken. Allerdings ist das Gehäuse viel kräftiger als bei anderen 17-Zoll-Notebooks, obwohl das GL753 in puncto Größe und Gewicht verglichen mit den Konkurrenten durchschnittlich ist. An Schnittstellen bietet das GL753 den üblichen LAN-Port, HDMI, mDP, USB-Type-A, einen USB-Type-C-Port und einen SD-Kartenleser. Daher können an das GL753 viele Zusatzgeräte angeschlossen werden. Besonders zu erwähnen ist, dass das GL753 über ein optisches Laufwerk verfügt, welches in Notebooks kleiner gleich 15 Zoll bereits selten geworden ist. Die Tastatur ähnelt jener des GL702. Die WASD-Tasten sind wie gewohnt und die Leertaste ist sowohl etwas abgesetzt als auch größer als normal. Das sollte ein Vorteil sein. Hier sei gesagt, dass die Tasten einen vernünftigen Hubweg aufweisen und ein zufriedenstellendes Feedback liefern, was 10-Finger-Schreibern gefallen dürfte. Unter zu großer Kraftaufwendung gibt die Tastatur jedoch etwas nach. Das Touchpad behält die guten Gleiteigenschaften, doch eigenständige Maustasten fehlen. Dennoch sind die Tasten gut erkennbar und die Clicks sind ausreichend knackig. Das GL753 ist mit einem FHD-Panel mit IPS-Technologie ausgestattet. Damit sollte es eine gute Blickwinkelstabilität bieten. Zudem ist es mit zirka 394 cd/m² überdurchschnittlich hell. Allerdings gibt es minimale Lichthöfe (Backlight Bleeding). In puncto Gaming-Leistung sollte die GTX 1050 die ältere GTX 960M um zirka 30 % übertreffen bzw. sogar der älteren GTX 970M gleichkommen. Das heißt, dass moderne Games mit hohen bis maximalen Settings flüssig laufen sollten. In puncto Audio hat Asus das Gerät mit einem Paar nach vorne gerichteter Stereo-Lautsprecher ausgestattet. Die Klangqualität ist für normale Audio-Wiedergabe sowie Gaming zufriedenstellend, zwar fehlt Bass und Höhen, doch im Allgemeinen ist der Klang akzeptabel. Natürlich schneiden Gaming-Laptops in puncto Akkulaufzeit erstklassig ab. Dafür sind sie in den Akkulaufzeittests nur mittelmäßig oder sogar schlecht. Im WLAN-Test erreichte das GL753 4 Stunden und 20 Minuten, was für ein Notebook dieser Klasse gerade recht ist. Zwar ist die Akkulaufzeit zirka durchschnittlich. Dennoch sollte diese kein entscheidendes Kriterium sein, wenn man ein Notebook dieser Klasse wählt. Das Notebook schneidet weiterhin in puncto Qualität und Merkmalen gut ab. It makes great sense for a laptop gamer to get ASUS ROG Strix GL753VD. If you can accept less than maxed out settings at Full HD on the heaviest of games, there are no pitfalls I can think of. The overall graphics performance is solid, so is processor, RAM and all of that stuff. The large 17-inches panel is excellent for gaming and, say, photo editing. Of course you don’t want to carry this laptop around too much because it’s rather bulky and heavy (6 and half pounds) compared to regular laptops. But as a portable gaming station it is hard to beat this ASUS!

It makes great sense for a laptop gamer to get ASUS ROG Strix GL753VD. If you can accept less than maxed out settings at Full HD on the heaviest of games, there are no pitfalls I can think of. The overall graphics performance is solid, so is processor, RAM and all of that stuff. The large 17-inches panel is excellent for gaming and, say, photo editing. Of course you don’t want to carry this laptop around too much because it’s rather bulky and heavy (6 and half pounds) compared to regular laptops. But as a portable gaming station it is hard to beat this ASUS!

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. ist ein großer taiwanesischer Hersteller von Computer-Hardware mit Sitz in Taipeh, gegründet 1989. Unter dem Markennamen Asus fertigt das Unternehmen eine breite Palette von Produkten, darunter Laptops, Desktops, Motherboards, Grafikkarten, Monitore, Smartphones und Netzwerkgeräte, Komplettsysteme und PC-Bauteile für Endkunden.
Unter dem Markennamen ROG (Republic of Gamers) stellt ASUS Gaming-Laptops her, die bei Spielern für ihre leistungsstarken Spezifikationen, dedizierten Grafikkarten, Displays mit hoher Bildwiederholrate und fortschrittlichen Kühlsystemen bekannt sind.
Über das Gaming hinaus werden eine breite Palette von Notebooks für unterschiedliche Anforderungen und Budgets geboten: von ultraschlanken und leichten Ultrabooks bis hin zu vielseitigen 2-in-1-Convertibles und budgetfreundlichen Optionen. 2023 hatte Asus einen Weltmarktanteil von 7% am PC-Markts.
Die Kundenzufriedenheit mit ASUS-Notebooks betrifft Leistung, die Funktionen und das gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der ASUS-Notebooks. Wie bei jeder Marke gibt es jedoch gelegentlich Berichte über Probleme wie Überhitzung, Treiberkompatibilität oder Probleme mit der Verarbeitungsqualität.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile: Mittelklasse-Grafikkarte basierend auf Nvidias Pascal-Architektur und Nachfolger der GeForce GTX 965M. Wird im 14-nm-Prozess bei Samsung gefertigt und die technischen Daten entsprechen weitestgehend der Desktop-Version.

i7-7700HQ: Auf der Kaby-Lake-Architektur basierender Quad-Core-Prozessor für Notebooks. Integriert neben den vier CPU-Kernen (inkl. Hyper-Threading) auch eine HD Graphics 630 Grafikeinheit und wird im verbesserten 14-Nanometer-Prozess gefertigt.
i5-7300HQ: Auf der Kaby-Lake-Architektur basierender Quad-Core Prozessor für größere Notebooks mit vier CPU Kernen und ohne HyperThreading welche mit 2,5 bis 3,5 GHz getaktet werden. Schwächster Quad-Core der Kaby Lake Generation Anfang 2017. Integriert eine Intel HD Graphics 630 GPU mit 350 - 1000 MHz und wird in 14 nm (verbessert im Vergleich zu Skylake) gefertigt.
