Das HP Spectre XT Touchsmart ist schnell, schön, hochwertig. Trotzdem werde ich das Gefühl nicht los, dass es für 1600 Euro eigentlich noch einen Tick besser sein sollte - der Bildschirm noch heller und gleichmäßiger ausgeleuchtet, die Verarbeitung ein wenig makelloser, das Gewicht niedriger und vor allem die Akkulaufzeit länger.

Es sind fast nur Kleinigkeiten, die das Vergnügen am HP Spectre XT TouchSmart trüben. Das Gesamtpaket überzeugt. Das Touchdisplay des Spectre ist hell und kontrastreich. Durch die große Bildschirmdiagonale von 15,6 Zoll wirkt die Darstellung trotz der Full-HD-Auflösung nicht zu klein. Die Blickwinkelabhängigkeit befindet sich dank IPS-Technologie auf einem hohen Niveau.

In terms of thickness and weight, this is unquestionably an Ultrabook. But once you open up the Spectre XT TouchSmart and switch it on, it feels like you're working with a larger, beefier notebook that suffers few of the obvious Ultrabook compromises. Connectivity is good, avant-garde even, and the combination of quality keyboard, large trackpad and ultra-responsive touchscreen display makes for very flexible handling. Sure, it's expensive, but quality costs.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
