Intel Atom Z500

Der Intel Atom Z500 ist ein stromsparender und sehr langsam getakteter Prozessor für MIDs und sehr kleine Netbooks. Die Performance der CPU reicht jedoch nur für sehr einfache Aufgaben. Dank Hyper-Threading können 2 Threads gleichzeitig auf dem einzelnen Kern zur besseren Auslastung ausgeführt werden. 64 Bit Befehle werden jedoch nicht unterstützt.

In Verbindung mit dem US15W (Poulsbo) Chipsatz brauch die Kombination knapp unter 3 Watt (0.65 + 2.3 W).
