Like its fellow Edge notebooks, the Edge 14 is a good buy for Small Business users. In an ideal world the battery life would be better, but for small business employees and owners who want a durable machine with many of the ThinkPad features the Edge 14 offers significant value at $649. If portability and battery life is an issue then you should check out the Lenovo Edge 13 review and if you want a bigger screen then the Lenovo Edge 15 might be a better fit; even though it has similarly poor battery life.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Intel HD Graphics oder GMA HD genannte onboard Grafikkarte welche im Package der Core i3/i5/i7 Arrandale Dual-Core Prozessoren untergebracht wird. Je nach Prozessormodell maximal mit 500 bis 766 MHz getaktet (Turbo Boost). Von Lenovo anscheinend auch GMA5700MHD genannt. Die gleichgenannte Intel HD Graphics Prozessorgrafik in den Sandy Bridge Prozessoren basiert auf einer neueren Architektur.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.

330M: Der Core i3-330M ist ein Mittelklasse Dual-Core Prozessor ohne Turbo Boost Modus. Daher läuft die CPU mit max. 2.13 GHz. Durch Hyperthreading werden bis zu 4 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeitet. Im Package ist auch noch eine integrierte Grafikkarte (GMA HD mit 500-667 MHz) und ein Speichercontroller (beide noch 45nm Fertigung). 14.0": 14 Zoll Display-Grösse stellt ein Mittelding zwischen den kleinen Subnotebook-Formaten und dem 15 Zoll-Standard-Display dar.
