Mit dem nVIDIA nForce 100 Bridge-Chip kommt erstmals SLI und Intel Prozessoren zusammen in ein Notebook (bis jetzt nur mit AMD Prozessoren oder Desktop Technik).
SLI + Intel Prozessoren im Notebook
Technisch erlaubt der nForce 100 den Einsatz von 2 nVidia Grafikkarten im SLI Modus in Verbindung mit einem Intel Chipsatz (945 oder 965) und dadruch auch Intel Prozessoren für Notebooks (wie den Core 2 Duo). Ein erstes Gerät kündigt auch schon Alienware mit dem Area-51 m9750 an.
