Das OnePlus 3T schnitt bereits vor einigen Monaten in Tests fast durchweg gut ab. Seitdem sind zahlreiche neue Smartphone-Modelle anderer Hersteller erschienen und sogar das OnePlus 5 steht allmählich in den Startlöchern. Das 5,5 Zoll große Display liefert kräftige Farben und ist auch in direktem Sonnenlicht noch gut ablesbar, leider löst es "lediglich" in FullHD auf.

Viel aus den letzten fünf Seiten muss für das Fazit zum OnePlus 3T nicht wiederholt werden, das Urteil fällt nämlich eindeutig aus. Ein, zwei kleinere Kritikpunkte außer Acht gelassen, sahnt das Smartphone eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung der Redaktion ab. Selbst zu einem höheren Preis wäre das OnePlus 3T ein empfehlenswertes Smartphone, für 479 Euro in der getesteten 128-GB-Version ist es aber umso attraktiver.

Modell: Das OnePlus 3T ist eine aktualisierte Version des OnePlus 3, welches vor zirka 6 Monaten auf den Markt gebracht wurde. Der Hauptunterschied liegt in der längeren Akkulaufzeit und der Fähigkeit bessere Selfies zu schießen. Das 3T sieht fast gleich wie das Original aus. Sein minimalistisches Ganzmetall-Gehäuse ist entweder Gunmetal oder Soft-Gold farbig. Das 3T ist aus einer einzigen Platte von erstklassiger Aluminium-Legierung in Luftfahrqualität gefräst und ist nur 7,3 mm schlank. Es fühlt sich leicht an und bietet ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis an weichen Kurven und scharfen Linien. Es handelt sich nicht um ein besonders großeres oder breites Gerät, sodass es angenehm in einer Hand gehalten werden kann. Das 3T verfügt über einen 5,5 Zoll großen AMOLED-Bildschirm mit Full-HD-Auflösung (1.920 x 1.090 Pixel) und einer Pixeldichte von 401 ppi. Dieser kann lebendige und natürliche Farben mit tiefen Schwarztönen und hellen Weißtönen erzeugen - und das bei einem Bruchteil des Stromverbrauches. Der Bildschirm ist durch eine Schutzschicht aus Corning Gorilla Glass 4 bedeckt. Direkt unterhalb des Bildschirms befindet sich ein Fingerabdruckleser, der auch als Home-Button fungiert. Der aus hochwertigem Keramik hergestellte Fingerabdruckleser ist reaktionsfreudig und entsperrt das Gerät in nur 0.2 Sekunden. Der Fingerabdruckleser lernt zudem aktiv und verbessert sich mit der Zeit, sodass die Scans mit der Zeit immer genauer werden.

Die Kamera an der Rückseite des OnePlus 3T wurde nicht verändert. Es handelt sich immer noch um eine 16-MP-Kamera mit einer f/2.0-Blende, optischer Bildstabilisierung und Phasenerkennungsautofokus. Die rückwärtige Kamera ist für zusätzlichen Schutz bei Stürzen und Kratzern in rostfreien Stahl eingebettet und durch Saphirglas geschützt. Das OnePlus-Team hat das 3T jedoch mit einer neuen 16-MP-Frontkamera ausgestattet, was ein großer Sprung von der 8-MP-Frontkamera im Vorgänger ist. Die neue verbesserte Frontkamera verfügt auch über eine f/2.0-Blende, was ihre Leistung bei schlechten Lichtbedingungen verbessert. Die neue EIS-2.0-Technologie hilft zudem bei der Aufzeichnung von 4K-Videos ungewünschte Bewegungen zu reduzieren. Die Akkulaufzeit des 3T wurde durch einen neuen 3400-mAh-Akku verbessert, der gegenüber dem OnePlus 3 die Akkukapazität um 13 % erhöht, wobei Gewicht und Größe gleich blieben. Der Dash Charge Stromadapter soll den Akku in nur einer halben Stunden für eine Nutzungsdauer von einem ganzen Tag aufladen können. Auch bei gleichzeitigem Gaming, Live-Streaming, Navigation mit GPS oder anderen anspruchsvollen Aktivitäten bleibt die Ladegeschwindigkeit konstant. Eine der Stärken von Dash Charge ist, dass die Temperaturen niedrig bleiben, obwohl er mehr Strom liefert als andere Schnell-Lade-Lösungen. Durch Verlagern des Energiemanagements und der Hitzeausleitung auf den Dash-Charge-Stromadapter erreicht nur sehr wenig Hitze das 3T.

Das 3T läuft unter einem Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Quad-Core-Prozessor mit einer Taktrate von 2,35 GHz. Dieser macht es zu einem der schnellsten Phones am Markt. Zudem kommt er sehr gut mit grafikintensiven Gaming zurecht. 6 GB RAM sorgen für flüssiges Multitasking. Das Phone verfügt über einen internen Speicher von 64 GB. Allerdings gibt es nur für die Gunmetal-Version eine 128 GB Speicheroption. Wie das OnePlus One, bricht das OnePlus 3T die Benchmark-Ergebnisse, die durch hochwertige Phones aufgestellt wurden, zu einem Bruchteil des Preises. Es ist ein gutes Phone für User, denen Funktionalität wichtiger ist als eine Marke.
