The Samsung is a bit lighter than the competitors and it's quite thin and highly portable. Battery life is very good, the fan is quiet and the keyboard is top notch once you get used to the offset design. But the TN panel, though bright and matte, just doesn't hold a candle to the MacBook Pro, Dell XPS 15z with the 1080p WLED option or the late 2011 HP Envy 15 with its IPS display. Viewing angles, particularly top-bottom are poor and contrast can't match these competitors.

Samsung: Die Samsung Group ist der größte südkoreanische Mischkonzern. In der Samsung-Gruppe sind mehr als 250.000 Menschen beschäftigt, und sie gehört zu den weltweit größten Unternehmen gemessen an Umsatz und Marktstärke. Samsung zahlt in Südkorea 5 Milliarden Euro Steuern, was 8 Prozent der Staatseinnahmen entspricht, und bestreitet einen Fünftel der südkoreanischen Exporte. Der Name Samsung bedeutet im Koreanischen "Drei Sterne" und repräsentiert die drei Söhne des Firmengründers. Das Unternehmen wurde 1938 als Lebensmittelladen gegründet. Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
Intel HD Graphics (Sandy Bridge): In den Celeron und Pentium Sandy Bridge (2. Generation Core) integrierte Prozessorgrafik. Technisch eine Intel HD Graphics 2000 (in Desktop CPUs) mit geringeren Taktraten. Die namensgleiche HD Graphics der Arrandale Prozessoren ist nicht baugleich!
Diese Grafikkarten sollten alle modernen Spiele flüssig darstellen können. Anspruchsvolle Spiele müssen jedoch in mittlerer Detailstufe gespielt werden. Ältere und weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie die Sims Serie können auch in hohen Detailsstufen flüssig dargestellt werden.
AMD Radeon HD 6750M: Dem Codenamen zu urteilen eine 6650M mit GDDR5 Speicher und dadurch ebenfalls mit von UVD3 und Eyefinity+.
High-End Grafikkarten welche auch neueste und anspruchsvolle 3D Spiele in hohen Auflösungen und Detailstufen flüssig wiedergeben können. Durch den hohen Stromverbrauch, werden diese GPUs nur in großen und schweren Notebooks mit geringen Akkulaufzeiten angeboten.
AMD Radeon HD 6970M: High-End Grafikkarte von AMD welche auf die Desktop 6850 basiert und dadurch UVD3 Videoprozessor und Eyefinity+ unterstützt.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M: Nachfolger der GTX 580M mit identischen Daten und Taktraten (Rebrand).
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

13.3: 13 Zoll ist ein häufiges, jedenfalls aber das grösste Displayformat für Subnotebooks. Der Vorteil von Subnotebooks liegt darin, dass das Notebook klein dimensioniert sein kann und daher leicht tragbar ist. Das verhältnismäßig kleine Display hat noch den Vorteil wenig Strom zu benötigen, was die Akkulaufzeit und damit die Mobilität weiter verbessert. Der Nachteil ist, dass das Lesen von Texten ein wenig anstrengend für die Augen ist. Sehr hohe Auflösungen sind nur bedingt nutzbar. Nicht fehlsichtige Menschen sollten mit dieser Displaygröße aber zurechtkommen können.

15.6: 15 Zoll Display-Varianten sind der Standard und werden für fast die Hälfte aller Notebooks verwendet. Notebook-Displays im 15 Zoll-Format sind der Standard schlechthin. 15.4 Zoll ist meist die genaue Größeneinheit für 16:10 Notebooks, während 15.6 Zoll ein Indiz für das Format 16:9 sind. 17.3: 17 Zoll Displaygrösse ist ein seit 2006 häufig angebotenes Standardformat für Desktop-Replacements. Die DTR-Laptops sind schwerer zu tragen, brauchen mehr Strom, dafür sind Texte leicht lesbar und hohe Auflösungen kein Problem. DTR sind hauptsächlich für stationären Schreibtischeinsatz vorgesehen, wo Gewicht und Energiehunger egal sind.

Dieser Laptop ist überdurchschnittlich schwer, verglichen mit dem Durchschnitt der Notebooks. Deshalb wird diese Gewichtsklasse vor allem von Desktop Replacements mit 17 Zoll Display bevölkert.
83.91%: Diese Bewertung muss man eigentlich als durchschnittlich ansehen, denn es gibt etwa ebenso viele Notebooks mit besseren Beurteilungen wie Schlechteren.
