Denn während man über kleinere Macken oder Ungereimtheiten noch hinwegsehen könnte, sind sie hier schlicht zu umfangreich. An erster Stelle steht dabei das Gehäuse, das hinsichtlich seiner Stabilität nicht den Eindruck hinterlässt, man habe es mit einem Ultrabook der 1.000-Euro-Klasse zu tun.

Sadly we weren't able to test battery life, or really push the graphics capabilites, improved by 50 per cent and 40 per cent respectively in our play, but will make sure we test both throughly in our full review when the new laptop hits the shops later this month.

What can we say Sony, it worked. Within seconds of picking up the Pro we'd fallen in love with it. It's stylish, thin and light. The screen is gorgeous, and the touch control works. It has just about the best keyboard we've used on a laptop, and in Ultrabook terms it's miles ahead of the competition. Mit nur 1,1 kg ist das 13-Zoll Sony Vaio SV-P1321WSNB ein sehr portabler Laptop mit Touchscreen. Das Design ist schön mit schlanken Linien und einem dezenten, jedoch schönen metallischen Schimmer. Es wurde aus leichter, jedoch robuster Kohlefaser gefertigt. Das Sony Vaio SV-P1321WSNB hat einige ausgezeichnete Design-Details, die die Nutzerfreundlichkeit wirklich verbessern. Auf den immer dünner werdenden Laptops kann sich Tippen unangenehm gestalten. Beim Sony wird die Tastatur beim Öffnen des Laptops jedoch um einen Winkel angehoben, sodass die Tastatur längere Zeit angenehm nutzbar ist.

Das Tastatur-Layout ist gut und das Touchpad ist schön und spricht gut an. Der Full-HD-Bildschirm ist eindeutig wunderbar, seine Farben sind schön und hell und die Bilder scharf. Der Touchscreen ist auch schön und spricht gut an. Der Intel Core i5 4200U und die integrierte Intel HD Graphics 4400 kommen mit den meisten Alltags-Anwendungen gut zurecht. Uns gefällt die schnelle Aufwachzeit von weniger als 3 Sekunden. Während die System-Leistung gut ist, sollte man nur wenig anspruchsvolle Spiele auf diesem Gerät spielen. Die Akkulaufzeit ist gut und reicht mit Leichtigkeit für einen ganzen Arbeitstag.  Das Sony Vaio SV-P1321WSNB ist eine ausgezeichnete Wahl, wenn man einen gut gebauten Ultraportablen mit großartigem Aussehen für leichte bis mittlere Aufgaben sucht.

Sony's VAIO Pro 13 is an amazingly light laptop that makes it seem not much more than some of the larger tablets on the market. With its high resolution touchscreen display and very fast performance, it certainly seems like a candidate for those looking to get a capable and small laptop.
