If you want a better system all around, go for the Lenovo IdeaPad V570-1066A9U. If longer battery life is what matters, the HP Pavilion dv6-6013cl fits the bill. If you don't care about those things and want to save money, the L755-5244 will do the trick. It just won't do much of anything else spectacular to go along with it.

It has just the right amount of speed and performance for the typical student or home user, it doesn’t break the budget and it’s design is decent though not stunning. Is the L755 built as well as a business laptop or MacBook Pro? No, but it also costs half as much. You can spend $1,000 and get a nicer laptop than the Satellite L755, but will it be twice as good as the $499 you can pay for this on Amazon.com? Not likely, so if the Satellite L755 fits your needs in a laptop, meaning you don’t need it to do any intense 3D gaming and you don’t need something that’s extremely portable and easy to carry, the Satellite L755 is it.

Toshiba: Die Toshiba Corporation ist ein japanischer Misch- bzw Technologiekonzern. Die Firma entstand 1939 und 1978 wurde Toshiba offizieller Firmenname. Zu den Produkten und Dienstleistungen des Unternehmens gehören Energie, industrielle und soziale Infrastruktursysteme, Aufzüge und Rolltreppen, elektronische Komponenten, Halbleiter, Festplatten, Drucker, Batterien, Beleuchtung, Logistik und Informationstechnologie. Toshiba war einer der größten Hersteller von Personal Computern, Unterhaltungselektronik, Haushaltsgeräten und medizinischen Geräten.
Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M: Basiert auf die GeForce GT 425M mit leicht erhöhten Taktraten.
Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen. Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Intel HD Graphics oder GMA HD genannte onboard Grafikkarte welche im Package der Core i3/i5/i7 Arrandale Dual-Core Prozessoren untergebracht wird. Je nach Prozessormodell maximal mit 500 bis 766 MHz getaktet (Turbo Boost). Von Lenovo anscheinend auch GMA5700MHD genannt. Die gleichgenannte Intel HD Graphics Prozessorgrafik in den Sandy Bridge Prozessoren basiert auf einer neueren Architektur.
Intel HD Graphics (Sandy Bridge): In den Celeron und Pentium Sandy Bridge (2. Generation Core) integrierte Prozessorgrafik. Technisch eine Intel HD Graphics 2000 (in Desktop CPUs) mit geringeren Taktraten. Die namensgleiche HD Graphics der Arrandale Prozessoren ist nicht baugleich!
Intel HD Graphics 3000: In Sandy Bridge Prozessoren (Core ix-2xxx) integrierte Grafikkarte von Intel. Stärkere GT2 genannte Version mit 12 Execution Units (EUs). Je nach Modell mit unterschiedlichen Taktraten (350-650MHz) und TurboBoost Unterstützung (900-1350MHz).

72.18%: Diese Bewertung ist schlecht. Locker drei Viertel der Modelle werden besser beurteilt. Das ist eher keine Kaufempfehlung. Auch wenn Verbalbewertungen in diesem Bereich gar nicht so schlecht klingen ("genügend" oder "befriedigend"), meist sind es Euphemismen, die eine Klassifikation als unterdurchschnittliches Notebook verschleiern.
