Will man in der Tat bereits schon ein Fazit zu der Kamera des Xiaomi Mix erstellen, so sollte man in dunklen Situationen nicht das Xiaomi Mi Mix als Kamera wählen. Tagsüber ist es guter Durchschnitt, wird aber von dem Samsung Galaxy S7 oder dem Google Pixel deutlich übertrumpft. Nun muss man aber auch bedenken dass es sich hier nach wie vor um ein sogenanntes Konzept Smartphone handelt.

Die Hardware ist hingegen überzeugend, das Gerät ist in Sachen Technik im absoluten High-End-Bereich angesiedelt, es hat unter anderem einen Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, vier oder sechs Gigabyte RAM und als internen Flash-Speicher entweder 128 oder 256 Gigabyte. Auffällig ist auch die doch recht ungewöhnliche Auflösung von 2040 x 1080 Pixeln, damit hat das Mi Mix ein Format von 17:9 und man muss beim Ansehen von Filmen mit Rändern auf der Seite leben.

Die 128-GByte-Variante kostet umgerechnet etwa 475 Euro, während das Modell mit 256 GByte Speicher und 6 GByte RAM für 541 Euro erhältlich sein soll. Beide Varianten sind nur in Schwarz erhältlich. Vermutlich wird das Mi MIX nicht offiziell in Deutschland angeboten werden.

Imagine a phone with a 5.5” display in the body of what normally houses a 5” screen. Oh wait, such a Mi Mix ‘nano’ is already rumoured from Xiaomi – but they won’t be alone here.
