Das Inspiron 1200 ist komplett vorkonfiguriert mit Intel Celeron M-Prozessor 350 (1,3 GHz, 1 MB L2-Cache, 400 MHz FSB), Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition und 256 MB DDR SDRAM, 40-GB-Festplatte, 15-Zoll-XGA-Display, Intel Media Accelerator 900-Grafik mit 64 MB Shared Memory, 10/100 LAN, 56K-Modem und DVD/CD-RW-Combolaufwerk. Das Inspiron 1200 kostet 649 Euro.

Auf der anderen Seite ermöglicht Inspiron 2200 etliche Konfigurationsoptionen: So kann es entweder mit einem Intel Celeron M- oder einem Intel Pentium M-Prozessor ausgestattet werden. Als optisches Laufwerk gibt es einfaches DVD-ROM- bis 8fach DVD-Brenner, der DVDs in Minuten beschreibt. Mit Intel Celeron M-Prozessor 350 (1,3 GHz, 1 MB L2-Cache, 400 MHz FSB), Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition und 256 MB DDR SDRAM, 30-GB-Festplatte, 15-Zoll-XGA-Display, Intel Media Accelerator 900-Grafik mit 64 MB Shared Memory, 10/100 LAN, ein 56K-Modem und DVD/CD-RW-Combolaufwerk ist das Inspiron 2200 für 679 Euro zu haben.
