Der AMD A10-5750M ist ein mobiler Quad-Core-Prozessor, der auf der Richland-Architektur basiert. Als Nachfolger des A10-4600M besitzt der A10-5750M eine etwas höhere CPU- und Grafikleistung und repräsentiert das neue Topmodell der A-Serie. Die offizielle Vorstellung erfolgte am 12. März 2013.

Richland wurde gegenüber dem Vorgänger Trinity nur minimal überarbeitet, sodass keine Änderungen beim Featureset oder der Pro-MHz-Leistung zu verzeichnen sind. Der Aufbau des Chips basiert weiterhin auf der Bulldozer-Architektur, welche auf die sogenannte Modulbauweise setzt. Jedes der beiden Module integriert 2 Integer-Einheiten, aber nur eine FPU, weshalb beim A10-5750M nur bedingt von einem echten 4-Kerner gesprochen werden kann. Ebenso wie Trinity unterstützt Richland nahezu alle aktuellen Techniken wie AVX (inkl. FMA), AES oder Turbo Core.

In unseren Benchmarks schlägt der A10-5750M seinen Vorgänger A10-4600M um gut 10%. Damit ordnet sich die APU etwa auf dem Niveau eines Core i3-2330M (Sandy Bridge) ein und ist für alle Alltagsanwendungen sowie leichtes Multitasking ohne Einschränkungen geeignet.

Die Grafikeinheit namens Radeon HD 8650G bietet weiterhin 384 Shader-Einheiten (VLIW4) und ist etwas schneller als die HD 7660G. Die Taktraten liegen bei 533 bis 720 MHz (Turbo).

Die Leistungsaufnahme der gesamten APU liegt bei 35 Watt, was vergleichbar mit gängigen Mittelklassemodellen der Konkurrenz ist. Damit ist die APU am besten für Notebooks ab 14 Zoll geeignet.

AMD A4-5145M

Der AMD A4-5145M ist ein mobiler Ultra-Low-Voltage Dual-Core-Prozessor, der auf der Richland-Architektur basiert. Die APU verfügt über ein Modul mit 2,0 bis 2,6 GHz Taktrate, eine Radeon HD 8310G Grafikeinheit sowie einen DDR3(L)-1333-Speichercontroller.

Richland wurde gegenüber dem Vorgänger Trinity nur minimal überarbeitet, sodass keine Änderungen beim Featureset oder der Pro-MHz-Leistung zu verzeichnen sind. Der Aufbau des Chips basiert weiterhin auf der Bulldozer-Architektur, welche auf die sogenannte Modulbauweise setzt. Die Performance des A4-5145M liegt etwa auf dem Niveau des A6-4455M. Für Alltagsaufgaben wie Office oder Internet ist die Leistungsfähigkeit ausreichend, jedoch nicht für sehr anspruchsvolle Software oder aufwändige Spiele.

Die Grafikeinheit namens Radeon HD 8310G bietet nur 128 der 384 Shader-Einheiten (VLIW4) des Chips und taktet mit 424 bis 554 MHz. Die Performance liegt etwa zwischen der HD Graphics (Ivy Bridge) und der HD Graphics 4000.

Die Leistungsaufnahme der gesamten APU liegt bei 17 Watt, was vergleichbar mit gängigen ULV-Modellen der Konkurrenz ist. Damit ist die APU auch für schlanke Subnotebooks ab etwa 12 Zoll geeignet.
