Die Vivante GC4000 ist eine mobile Grafikkarte für ARM und MIPS SoCs. Sie bietet 8 VEC-4 bzw 32 VEC-1 Shaderkerne. Wenn der Grafikkern in 40nm LP bei TSMC hergestellt wird, gibt Vivante folgende Spezifikationen an:

200 M Tri/s Geometry Rate, 2.5 G Pixel/s Textured Pixel Rate, 48 GFLOPS Core Processing. Damit ist die GC4000 genau doppelt so schnell spezifiziert wie die GC2000 und 5-8x so schnell wie die GC800. Mit 9.6 mm2 Synthesis Area und 12.4 mm2 ist der Chip jedoch auch deutlich größer (GC800 nur 1.9/2.5 mm2, GC2000 5.4/6.9mm2)

Vivante GC7000UL

Die Vivante GC7000UL ist eine Low-End-GPU für ARM-basierte Smartphones und Tablet-SoCs. Die Leistungsfähigkeit ist in etwa mit einer Adreno 305 von Qualcomm vergleichbar und somit ausreichend, um einfache Android-Spiele des Jahres 2014/2015 in mittleren Einstellungen flüssig darzustellen. Eingesetzt wird die GPU z.B. im Marvell Armada PXA1908 SoC.

Die 3D Leistung der GC7000UL reicht nur für niedrig aufgelöste Bildschirme, wie beim Galaxy Xcover 3 (800x480). Aufwändige Spiele wie "Asphalt 8" werden, ebenfalls dank der niedrigen Auflösung, auch in hohen Details noch in spielbaren Framerates angezeigt. Einfachere Spiele wie "Candy Crush" oder "Angry Birds" sind kein Problem.
