Die G78MP22 integriert 22 der 24 Kerne/Cluster und nutzt die 2. Generation der Valhall-Architektur. Im Vergleich zur G77 bietet die G78 zwei neue Features: Asynchronous Top Level und Fragment Dependency Tracking.

Die GPU zählt damit zu den schnellsten Grafikkarten für Android-Smartphones und Tablets in 2020 und daher sollten alle aktuellen Spiele flüssig dargestellt werden.

An Grafik-APIs unterstützt die G78 OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1 und OpenCL 2.0.

Die ARM Mali-G77MP11 ist eine integrierte High-End-Grafikeinheit für ARM-SoCs, die erstmals Anfang 2020 im Smartphone- und Tablet-Chip Samsung Exynos 990 verbaut wurde (z.B. Galaxy S20 Serie). Die G77MP11 integriert 11 Cluster und soll laut ARM etwa 30% schneller sein pro Cluster als eine Mali-G76 bei 30% besserer Effizienz. Beim maschinellen Lernen soll die GPU sogar um 60 Prozent schneller sein.

Die G76 basiert auf die neue Valhall-Architektur mit 32 FMA pro Kern. Diese kann mit 7 - 16 Cluster und 0,5 - 4 MB L2-Cache konfiguriert werden.

Die GPU zählt damit zu den schnellsten Grafikkarten für Android-Smartphones in 2020 und daher sollten alle aktuellen Spiele flüssig dargestellt werden.

An Grafik-APIs unterstützt die G77 OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1 und OpenCL 2.0.
