Die ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 ist die schwächste dezidierte Grafikkarte von ATI der X1000 Serie. Für aktuelle Spiele nur sehr eingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Die ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 ist in der unteren Mittelklasse situiert. Die Leistung ist in etwa mit der älteren X600 vergleichbar, technisch ist sie jedoch nur eine um knapp 100 MHz höhergetaktete X1300. Für anspruchslose DirectX 9 Spiele jedoch noch durchaus als brauchbar zu bezeichnen (mit reduzierten Details).

Wie auch alle anderen Karten der X1000 Serie unterstützt die X1400 die AVIVO Video Technologie zur Hardware-unterstützten Dekodierung von MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, WMV9 und VC-1 Video Formaten.

Windows Vista Aero Glass sollte auf diesem Grafikchip flüssig laufen.
