Die ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 ist die schwächste dezidierte Grafikkarte von ATI der X1000 Serie. Für aktuelle Spiele nur sehr eingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Die Nachfolger Grafikkarte der ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 für Notebooks erreicht dank gestrecktem Silizium ("Strained Silicon") eine höhere Leistung bei gleichem Stromverbrauch. Dank der zusätzlichen Pixel- und Vertexpipelines liegt die Leistung deutlich über der X1600 und reicht damit für damalige DirectX 9 Spiele (Stand 10.2006) in mittleren bis hohen Einstellungen voll aus. Die direkte Konkurrenz ist die etwas schnellere NVIDIA GeForce Go 7700.

Auch eine XT Variante mit wahrscheinlich höherem Takt (Codename M66-XT) war geplant, erschien jedoch nie.

Dank Avivo Videotechnologie unterstützt die Grafikkarte den Prozessor bei Videodekodierarbeiten
