Die NVIDIA Quadro NVS 5100M ist eine Business Grafikkarte für Notebooks und basiert auf den selben Kern wie die GeForce GT 330M. Daher positioniert sich die NVS5100 in der Mittelklasse. Die Besonderheit der NVS Serie sind die auf Stabilität und Business Anwendungen optimierten Treiber.

Als Grafikspeicher unterstützt die Quadro NVS 5100M maximal 1 GB DDR3 durch ihr 128 Bit breites Speicherinterface.

Die Spieleleistung ist theoretisch auf dem Niveau der GT 330M, jedoch kann die Performance durch die speziellen Business Treiber leiden. Für Spieler empfiehlt siche eher eine Grafikkarte der GeForce Serie.

Wie die GT 330M, sollte die NVS 5100M auch PureVideo HD (VP4) zum Dekodieren von HD Videos unterstützten. Weiters ist auch CUDA und Direct Compute Unterstütztung für die 5100er zu erwarten.

Die NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M ist eine Notebook Grafikkarte basierend auf die GeForce 8400M GT (G86M Chip). Die Quadro NVS 140M für den Profi-Sektor ausgelegt und bietet erhöhte Kompatibilität (getestet mit den wichtigsten Businesssoftwarepaketen) und Stabilität. Die Leistung dürfte knapp unter der 8400M GT liegen (durch die "stabileren" Treiber und geringere Taktraten). Daher bietet die NVS 140M Einsteiger- 3D Performance.

Je nach verwendetem Speichertyp ist auch der Speichertakt unterschiedlich (400 MHz bei GDDR2 und 700 MHz bei GGDR3).
