Die Nvidia Quadro P3000 Max-Q (offiziell Quadro P3000 with Max-Q Design) ist eine mobile High-End-Workstation-Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf wie die Consumer GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q (Laptop) auf den GP106 Chip mit 1280 Shader. Die Grafikkarte ist für die Kaby-Lake-Generation gedacht und die effiziente Stromsparversion der Quadro P3000. Im Vergleich zur normalen Quadro P3000 ist die Leistung etwas geringer, jedoch bei deutlich verringertem Stromverbrauch (60 Watt versus 75 Watt TGP). Nähere Informationen zu Max-Q finden sie hier.

Die Quadro-Grafikkarten bieten zertifizierte Treiber, welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind. Dadurch ist die Performance im Vergleich zu den Consumergrafikkarten mit gleichem Chip in diesen Bereichen deutlich besser.

Leistung

Die theoretische Leistung sollte nur wenige Prozent unter der normalen P3000 liegen, da die Taktraten nur minimal abgesenkt wurden. Auch bei der Consumer GTX 1060 Max-Q war der Leistungsverlust relativ gering.

Leistungsaufnahme

Die Leistungsaufnahme der Quadro P3000 mit Max-Q Design liegt laut Nvidia bei 60 Watt (TGP incl. memory) und dadurch deutlich unter der normalen P3000 die mit 75 Watt spezifiziert ist. Dadurch ist die Karte auch für kleinere Notebooks geeignet.

Die Nvidia Quadro P5000 Max-Q (offiziell Quadro P5000 with Max-Q Design) ist eine mobile High-End-Workstation-Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf wie die Consumer GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q (Laptop) auf einen abgespeckten GP104 Chip mit 2048 Shader. Die Grafikkarte ist für die Kaby-Lake-Generation gedacht und die Stromsparvariante der Quadro P5000 mit leicht reduzierten Taktraten (1101 - 1366 MHz versus 1164 - 1506 MHz) und deutlich reduziertem Stromverbrauch (80 versus 100 Watt TGP).

Die Quadro-Grafikkarten bieten zertifizierte Treiber, welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind. Dadurch ist die Performance im Vergleich zu den Consumergrafikkarten mit gleichem Chip in diesen Bereichen deutlich besser.

Leistung

Die theoretische Leistung sollte vergleichbar zur GTX 1070 Max-Q sein, und dadurch einige Prozent unterhalb der normalen Quadro P5000.

Leistungsaufnahme

Die Leistungsaufnahme der Quadro P5000 mit Max-Q Design ist mit 80 Watt genauso hoch wie die Quadro P4000 Max-Q und 20 Watt geringer also die nicht Max-Q Varianten beider Quadro Karten. Dadurch liegt sie nur 5 Watt oberhalb der Quadro P3000 und kann daher auch in kleineren Notebooks verbaut werden.

NVIDIA Quadro P1000

Die NVIDIA Quadro P1000 ist eine DirectX-12 (FL 12_1) und OpenGL-4.6 fähige Mittelklasse-Workstation-Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert wie die Consumer GeForce GTX 1050 auf dem GP107-Chip der Pascal-Serie und wird in 14nm bei TSMC hergestellt. Sie bietet jedoch nur 512 Shaderkerne und entspricht dadurch nicht genau einer derzeit erhältlichen GeForce GPU (GTX 1050 bietet z.B. 640 Shader). Die Grafikkarte ist für die Coffe-Lake-Generation gedacht und Nachfolgerin der Quadro M1000M (Maxwell GM107). Sie verfügt über 4 GB GDDR5 Grafikspeicher, die mit 1.502 MHz (6.008 MHz effektiv) getaktet werden und über ein 128 Bit Speicherbus angebunden sind (96,14 vs. 80 GB/s bei der M1000M).

Leistung

Die P1000 platziert sich deutlich vor der Maxwell-basierten Quadro M1000M und könnte sogar der M2000M gefährlich werden. Im Vergleich zur Consumer GeForce GTX 1050 Ti ist die Spieleleistung ein wenig geringer.

Die Rechenkerne der Grafikkarte können per CUDA 6.1 und OpenCL 1.2 auch für generelle Berechnungen herangezogen werden.

Leistungsaufnahme

Die Leistungsaufnahme der Quadro P1000 dürfte bei etwa 40 Watt TGP (Max Power Consumption). Dadurch ist die Grafikkarte am besten für 15-Zoll-Notebooks geeignet.
