Der AMD Ryzen 7 6800H ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z.B. Gaming Laptops) basierend auf die Rembrandt Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3+ Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit 3,2 GHz (garantierter Basistakt) bis zu 4,7 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 6nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde Anfang 2022 vorgestellt.

Die neuen Rembrandt APUs bieten einige Neuerungen, wie Support für USB4 mit 40 Gbps, PCI-E Gen 4, DDR5-4800MT/s bzw LPDDR5-6400MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE 5.2, DisplayPort 2 und AV1 Decode in Hardware.

Die CPU Leistung ist pro Takt vergleichbar mit den alten Ryzen 5000 APUs, dank des neuen 6nm Prozess sind die CPUs aber höher getaktet und dadurch etwas schneller. Der 6800H sollte daher zwischen Ryzen 9 5980HX und Ryzen 9 5900HX sich einordnen. Die neuen Alder Lake H-Serie CPUs sollten jedoch eine höhere Leistung bieten (z.b. i7-12800H).

Eine besondere Neuheit ist die aktualisierte Grafikkarte namens Radeon 680M, die nun endlich auf die aktuelle RDNA2-Architektur basiert und im 6800H 12 CUs mit bis zu 2,2 GHz Takt bietet.

Der TDP ist weiterhin mit 45 Watt spezifiziert (die schnelleren X-Modelle dürfen laut AMD auch mehr Strom ziehen).

Der AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 6950HS ist ein Mobilprozessor für große Notebooks (z.B. Workstation Laptops) basierend auf die Rembrandt Generation. Der SoC beinhaltet acht Zen 3+ Kerne (Octa-Core CPU) welche mit bis zu 4,9 GHz getaktet werden (Turbo) und SMT / Hyperthreading (16 Threads) unterstützen. Der Chip wird im modernen 6nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde im April 2022 vorgestellt. Als HS-Variante ist der TDP um 10W reduziert und dadurch eignet sich die CPU für dünnere Notebooks. Der PRO 6950HS ist die Business-Version des Ryzen 9 6900HX und bietet zusätzliche Management und Sicherheitsfunktionen (z.B. den integrierten Pluton Security Prozessor).
