Die AMD Radeon HD 7500G bezeichnet eine in den AMD Trinity APUs integrierte Prozessorgrafik. Die HD 7500G ist zum Beispiel im ULV Prozessor A6-4455M integriert und taktet mit 327 MHz Basis bzw. 424 MHz Turbo Core Taktrate relativ gering. Sie bietet wie die Radeon HD 7640G 256 Shaderkerne welche auf der VLIW4 Architektur der Radeon HD 6900 Serie basieren. Auf einen dedizierten Grafikspeicher kann die 7500G nicht zurückgreifen, sondern Sie teilt sich den Hauptspeicher gemeinsam mit der CPU.

Der Codename Trinity wird dadurch abgeleitet, da sich die APU aus drei Architekturen zusammensetzt: Piledriver (Bulldozer Nachfolger) CPU Kerne, Northern Islands GPU Kerne (Desktop 6900 Serie) und Southern Islands Video Processing Engine und Multi-Display Technologie.

Der integrierte UVD3 Video Decoder (Avivo HD) ermöglicht das vollständige Dekodieren von HD Videos. Er kann neben Multi-View Codec (MVC) und MPEG-4 part 2 (DivX, xVid) auch MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, VC-1, MPEG-2 und Adobe Flash Videos dekodieren und so die CPU entlasten.

Die Performance ist aufgrund des fehlenden Grafikspeichers deutlich geringer als vergleichbare Grafikkarten der HD 7000M Serie. Im Mittel ordnet sie sich auf dem Level der Radeon HD 7400er Serie (z.B. 7470M) ein und damit knapp unterhalb der Intel HD Graphics 4000. Aktuelle Spiele des Jahres 2013/2014 sind, wenn überhaupt, zumeist nur in sehr niedrigen Einstellungen flüssig spielbar.

Die APU wird weiterhin in 32nm gefertigt und besonders die A6 ULV Serie eignet sich aufgrund der 17W Einstufung auch für flache "Ultrathin"-Subnotebooks.

Die AMD Radeon HD 7640G bezeichnet die zweitschnellste in Trinity Prozessoren (A8 Serie) integrierte Grafikkarte. Sie bietet nur 256 der 384 Radeon Cores mit einer Basistaktrate von 497 MHz und einem Turbo Core Takt von maximal 686 MHz. Sie bietet keinen eigenen Grafikspeicher, sondern greift zusammen mit den CPU Kernen auf den Hauptspeicher zu.

Der Codename Trinity wird dadurch abgeleitet, da sich die APU aus drei Architekturen zusammensetzt: Piledriver (Bulldozer Nachfolger) CPU Kerne, Northern Islands GPU Kerne (6900 Desktop Serie) und Southern Islands Video Processing Engine und Multi-Display Technologie.

Die APU wird weiterhin in 32nm gefertigt. Als integrierte Grafikkarte eignet sie sich auch für kleinere Notebooks ab 13-Zoll. Die gesamte APU (z.B. A8-4500M) ist mit 35 Watt TDP spezifiziert.
