AMD Radeon HD 7530M

Die AMD Radeon HD 7530M (manchmal auch ATI Mobility Radeon HD 7530 genannt) ist eine DirectX 11 Mittelklasse Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert auf dem selben Chip wie die Radeon HD 6630M, wird jedoch laut Gerüchten mit 450 gegenüber 485 MHz geringer getaktet und besitzt nur 5 SIMD Blöcke (=400 Shader). Das Speicherinterface wurde ebenfalls beschnitten und ist lediglich 64 Bit breit. Die Shaderarchitektur basiert weiterhin auf der Northern Islands Generation in 40nm. Von der schwächeren Radeon HD 7510M unterscheidet sich die Karte lediglich durch einen 100 MHz höheren Speichertakt (900 MHz DDR3 (effektiv 1.800 MHz)).

Die 400 Stream Prozessoren dürften noch in der "alten" 5D Architektur angeordnet sein wie bei der HD 5000 Serie. Dadurch ist die Anzahl nicht direkt mit Nvidia GeForce Chips vergleichbar. Die Tessellation Leistung dürfte jedoch etwas verbessert worden sein (wie bei der Desktop 6800 Serie). Die Stream Prozessoren können mittels DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.1, DirectCompute 11 und OpenCL angesprochen werden und dadurch auch für generelle Berechnungen herangezogen werden.

Die 3D Leistung liegt durch die schmale Speicheranbindung nur leicht oberhalb der Radeon HD 6620G. Dadurch sollten aktuelle Spiele nur in 1024x768 oder 1366x768 Pixeln bei mittleren Details (teilweise knapp) flüssig laufen. Bei sehr anspruchsvollen Spielen wie Anno 2070 muss die Detailrate zum Teil auch noch weiter reduziert werden.

Der UVD3 Video Decoder läuft jetzt unter der EyeSpeed Marketing Bezeichnung und kann als Neuheit zum UVD2 auch Multi-View Codec (MVC) und MPEG-4 part 2 (DivX, xVid) HD Videos dekodieren. Weiterhin unterstützt wird MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, VC-1, MPEG-2 und Adobe Flash Videos.

Mit der "AMD HD3D Technologie" bietet AMD nun auch 3D Support (Blu-Ray 3D und Spiele) für integrierte und externe Displays. Die Lösung dürfte jedoch noch nicht so ausgereift sein wie Nvidias 3D Vision Counterpart.

Wie auch bei der 6000M-Serie ist in der 7530M ein HD Audio Controller integriert welcher 7.1 surround sound über HDMI und DisplayPort unterstützt (inkl. TrueHD und DTS Master Audio).

Dank Eyefinity können theoretisch bis zu 5 Monitore gleichzeitig an die HD 7530M angeschlossen werden (wenn der Notebookhersteller ausreichend DisplayPort Ausgänge verbaut).

Der Stromverbrauch siedelt sich durch die geringe Taktrate vermutlich noch unterhalb einer Radeon HD 6530M an, wodurch die Karte auch für kleinere Notebooks (13-14") geeignet sein sollte.

AMD Radeon HD 7570M

Bei sehr anspruchsvollen Titeln wie Metro 2033 muss die Detailrate u.U. etwas weiter reduziert werden.

AMD Radeon HD 7500G + HD 7550M Dual Graphics

Die AMD Radeon HD 7500G + HD 7550M Dual Graphics bezeichnet die asymmetrische Crossfire Kombination aus AMD Radeon HD 7500G Prozessorgrafikkarte im AMD Prozessor und der dedizierten AMD Radeon HD 7550M Grafikkarte.

Beide Grafikkarten arbeiten bei der Grafiklösung im CrossFire Verbund und berechnen dadurch im AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) Modus abwechselnd ein Bild. Deshalb leidet die Grafiklösung auch unter Microruckler bei Bildraten um die 30fps (unterschiedliche Abstände zwischen zwei Bildern führen zu Rucklern obwohl genug Bilder pro Sekunde berechnet werden). 

Die Performance der AMD Radeon HD 7500G und HD 7550M Dual Graphics ist stark abhängig von der Treiberunterstützung des eingesetzten Spiels oder der Applikation. Bei manchen Spielen kann die Leistung sogar 10-15% schlechter sein als mit einer Grafikkarte alleine. Bei den von uns getesteten Spielen lagen die Zuwächse meist nur einstelligen Prozentbereich (10% maximal). Durch merkbares Ruckeln bei Frameraten um die 30fps (Microruckler) war der Vorteil aber nur bei geringen Auflösungen nutzbar. Nur in optimalen Fällen erreicht das Gespann etwa die Leistung einer GeForce GT 630M.

Die Features wie PureVideo HD (UVD3) oder OpenCL Unterstützen entsprechen den beiden einzelnen Grafikkarten.

Da bei der Dual Graphics Grafiklösung unter Last beide Grafikkarten arbeiten, ist der Stromverbrauch deutlich höher.
