Der Intel Core i3-10320 ist ein Einstiegs-Desktop-Prozessor der Comet Lake-S Serie und wurde im 2. Quartal 2020 vorgestellt. Er bietet vier Kerne und acht Threads mit 3,8 - 4,6 GHz Taklung. Gefertigt wird der Intel Core i3-10320 weiterhin im 14-nm-Prozess.

Performance

In vielen Bereichen kann der kleine i3 mit dem alten Spitzenmodell, dem Core i7-7700K mithalten. Dieser bietet zwar einen etwas geringeren Maximaltakt, aber einen etwas höheren TDP.

Grafikeinheit

Wie schon zuvor bietet auch der Intel Core i5-10600K mit der Intel UHD Graphics 630 eine iGPU, welche sich aber aufgrund der geringen Leistung nicht für aufwendige Spiele eignet. Als Low-End-Lösung können aktuelle Videospiele, wenn überhaupt, lediglich in verminderter Detailstufe flüssig wiedergegeben werden. 

Leistungsaufnahme

Die TDP ist mit 65 Watt (Pl1) spezifiziert und daher für Desktop-CPUs relativ gering. Für 28s kann die CPU auch 90 Watt nutzen (PL2).

Der Intel Core i9-10910 ist eine High-End-CPU mit zehn Kernen auf Basis der neuen Comet-Lake-Architektur, die Ende April 2020 bereits angekündigt wurde. Der Prozessor taktet mit 3,6-5,0 GHz und kann dank Hyperthreading bis zu 20 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten. Gefertigt wird der Inter Core i9-10900K weiterhin im 14-nm-Prozess.

Performance

Im Vergleich zum Intel Core i9-9900KS bietet der Core i9-10910 nun zwei zusätzliche Rechenkerne, was sich vor allem bei Multi-Thread-Aufgaben positiv bemerkbar macht. Mit dem All-Core-Boost von bis zu 4,6 GHz taktet der neue 10-Kerner etwas langsamer als das bisherige Topmodell. Gleichwohl konnte die Leistung aber dennoch gesteigert werden. Gleiches gilt auch für die IPC sowie die Single-Thread-Performance. Dank des TVB (Thermal Velocity Boost) kann der Intel Core i9-10910 bis zu 5,0 GHz auf einem Kern erreichen. Für den maximalen Takt müssen aber viele Faktoren (Art des Workloads, Anzahl aktiver CPU-Kerne, kalkulierte Stromstärke, kalkulierte Leistungsaufnahme, CPU-Temperatur) stimmen, damit der Prozessor auch diese Werte erreicht. Als High-End-Modell ist der Intel Core i9-10910 für anspruchsvollste Anwendungen und vor allem für Videospiele geeignet.

Grafikeinheit

Als Low-End-Lösung können aktuelle Videospiele, wenn überhaupt, lediglich in verminderter Detailstufe flüssig wiedergegeben werden. 

Leistungsaufnahme

Hier hat Intel deutliche Veränderungen vorgenommen und dem Intel Core i9-10910 einen Spielraum von bis zu 250 Watt unter Volllast eingeräumt. Die angegebene TDP von 125 Watt (PL1) wird in den meisten Fällen fast immer überschritten, was an den geänderten PL2 (250 Watt) sowie dem Tau-Wert (56 Sekunden) liegt. Beim Intel Corei9-9900KS lag der PL2-Wert noch bei 159 Watt. Der Tau-Wert betrug zu seiner Zeit nur 28 Sekunden. Aufgrund der deutlich höheren Leistungsaufnahme sollte der Core i9-10910 nur mit einer sehr leistungsstarken Kühlung verwendet werden.
