Der AMD Athlon II Neo K125 Prozessor ist ein Einstiegs-Einkernprozessor der Nile Plattform. Er bietet einen integrierten DDR3-1066 Speicherkontroller und einen HyperTransport 3.0 Link mit 2000 MHz.

Die Performance ist auf dem Niveau eines gleichgetakteten Pentium M / Core Solo und dadurch etwas schneller als die Atom Prozessoren aus Intel basierten Netbooks.

Der AMD Athlon II X2 Neo K325 ist ein Doppelkernprozessor für Subnotebooks. Er bietet einen integrierten Speicherkontroller für DDR3 (max DDR3-1066) und unterstützt Hardware Virtualisierungsfunktionen. Der einzelne 16-Bit HyperTransport 3.0 Link wird mit 1000 MHz getaktet (deshalb von AMD als 2000 MHz Systembus angegeben). Gefertigt wird die CPU im 45nm SOI Verfahren.

Im Vergleich zu den schnelleren Turion II Neo Prozessoren (K625 und K665) bietet die Athlon II Neo Serien nur eine 64-Bit Floating Point Recheneinheit (Turion 128-Bit).

Die Performance ist aufgrund der geringen Taktung beider Kerne (kein Turbo Boost) und dem kleinen Cache vergleichbar mit einem Celeron U3400 (Arrandale) mit 1 GHz und daher nur für anspruchslose Aufgaben ausreichend.
