Das Apple S7 SiP (System in a Package) besitzt die gleiche Modellnummer (t8301) wie sein Vorgänger Apple S6 und arbeitet mit einem 64-Bit-Prozessor, dessen beiden Kerne jeweils mit bis zu 1.800 MHz arbeiten. Gemäß den Angaben von Apple ist das SiP bis zu 20 Prozent schneller als der Apple S5, was exakt der Zuwachsbezifferung vom S6 entspricht.

Das SiP des S7 kommt in den Smartwatches der Serie 7 zum Einsatz und kann auf 1 GB Arbeits- sowie 32 GB internen Speicher zurückgreifen. Mit an Bord ist der Apple Wireless Chip W3, welcher Dual-Band-WLAN (IEEE-802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 5.0 sowie optionales 3G/LTE unterstützt. Für die Satellitenortung werden die GNSS-Netzwerke GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BeiDou und QZSS herangezogen. Ebenso ist der Ultrabreitband-Chip Apple U1 integriert.
