Der Samsung Exynos 1330 ist ein ARM-SoC für günstigere Mittelklasse-Smartphones. Der Anfang 2023 vorgestellte Achtkern-Chip wird in einer Strukturbreite von 5 nm hergestellt und unterstützt neben UFS 3.1-Speicher auch LPDDR5-RAM sowie parallel dazu auch UFS 2.2-Speicher und LPDDR4x-RAM.

Der Exynos 1330 kombiniert zwei schnelle ARM Cortex-A78 Performance-Kerne, die mit bis zu 2,4 GHz takten, mit 6 kleinen ARM Cortex-A55 Effizienz-Kernen bei 2,0 GHz Taktfrequenz. Die Grafikberechnungen übernimmt die ARM Mali-G68 MP2-GPU.

Der Samsung Exynos 1330 unterstützt Kameras mit einer Auflösung von bis zu 108 MP, 4K-Videoaufnahmen mit maximal 30 Bildern pro Sekunde und 1.080p+-Displays mit einer Bildfrequenz von bis zu 120 Hz. Unterstützte Videocodecs sind HEVC, H.264 und VP8.

Das 5G-Modem des Exynos 1330 bietet bis zu 2,55 Gbps im Download und 1,28 Gbps im Upload sowie LTE-Verbindungen mit Cat.18. Dazu kommen WiFi 802.11ac (2x2 MIMO) mit Dual-Band sowie Bluetooth 5.2. Neben GPS wird auch GLONASS, BeiDou und Galileo unterstützt.

Intel Core i5-14401TE

The Intel Core i5-14401TE is a peculiar Raptor Lake family desktop processor (SoC) that has 6 performance cores but 0 efficient cores. It's the lack of E-cores that makes 14X01 chips special.

The product has decently sized level 2 and 3 caches at 12 MB and 24 MB, respectively. Its CPU cores run at up to 4.5 GHz. The UHD 730 serves as the integrated graphics solution. There is no 'proper' NPU here.

The i5 chip is manufactured using the Intel 7 process which is fairly old, as of mid 2025. Its base TDP sits at 45 W by default meaning at least one fan is required to keep it cool.

Performance

While we have not tested a single 14X01 processor as of May 2025, we do know that a single 4.6 GHz Raptor Cove core, like that of an i5-13450HX is good for 102 Cinebench 2024 points and 246 Cinebench R15 points. (The 14401TE is limited to 4.5 GHz, to remind you.) If we multiply the values by 6, we get a reasonably fair projection that sees the 14401TE going neck-and-neck with newer but not particularly powerful chips like Intel's Ultra 5 228V (Lunar Lake product family) as well as older chips of the more powerful kind, like AMD's Ryzen 7 5800H (Cezanne family, Zen 3 architecture). While not particularly impressive, this is most certainly sufficient for any tasks and applications one could run in 2025, top games included.

Intel Core i7-14701E

The Intel Core i7-14701E is a peculiar Raptor Lake family desktop processor (SoC) that has 8 performance cores but 0 efficient cores. It's the lack of E-cores that makes 14X01 chips special.

The product has decently sized level 2 and 3 caches at 16 MB and 33 MB, respectively. Its CPU cores run at up to 5.4 GHz. The UHD 770 serves as the integrated graphics solution. There is no 'proper' NPU here, however, the full vPro Enterprise feature set is onboard including Remote Platform Erase.

The i7 chip is manufactured using the Intel 7 process which is very old, as of late 2025. Its base TDP sits at 65 W by default which is the standard value for desktop CPUs.

Performance

While we have not tested a single 14X01 processor as of Sep 2025, we do know that a single 5.4-GHz Raptor Cove core, like that of an i9-13900HX, is good for 121 Cinebench 2024 points and 295 Cinebench R15 points. (The 14701E can run at up to 5.4 GHz, to remind you.) If we multiply the values by 8, we get a projection that sees the 14701E being just a little behind fairly powerful consumer-grade chips like AMD's Ryzen 7 8700G and Ryzen 9 8945HS. This should be fast enough for any tasks and applications one could run in 2025 and 2026, top games included.
