EN→DEThe Infinix GT 50 Pro is another cool smartphone from the maker, which we really liked while reviewing it. It has an interesting design with a transparent back and RGB lights, there are pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, reliable cameras, and most importantly - a gaming-friendly chipset with an optional cooling fan. The GT 50 Pro is not just a great-looking smartphone. It does feature the screen and the internals to handle games properly, with a high and steady frame rate. The phone posted some solid battery times; it can charge fast enough, and there are some useful features like wired and wireless bypass charging, fully customizable triggers, and some neat AI tricks. The GT 50 Pro is not a perfect device. First, it's not properly water-resistant. Then its great screen does not officially support HDR video. And if you do like this phone, buying it will be a tough job due to its limited market availability. Still, it's a well-rounded offer that's worth considering.

EN→DEThe Infinix GT 50 Pro feels refreshingly focused. Instead of trying to imitate ultra-premium flagships, it doubles down on the areas that matter most to gamers and power users: sustained performance, battery life, thermal management, responsive controls, and display quality. The result is a device that feels purpose-built rather than overloaded with unnecessary luxury aspirations or other reasons for sliding the price up.Awarded to products with an average rating of 3.75 stars or higher, the AndroidGuys Smart Pick recognizes a balance of quality, performance, and value.Products with this distinction deserve to be on your short list of purchase candidates. There are still compromises. Charging speeds are merely good instead of class-leading. The camera system, while respectable, will not dethrone photography-focused devices. Some users may also find the gaming aesthetic a little louder than they prefer. But for its target audience, the Infinix GT 50 Pro gets an impressive amount right.

EN→DEFirst, a quick overview of what makes the Infinix GT 50 Pro interesting. This phone is clearly built for gamers and performance lovers, but without a crazy high price. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset (built on a power efficient 4nm process), paired with up to 512GB of super fast UFS 4.1 storage and 12GB of RAM. It boots Android 16 with Infinix’s XOS 16 skin, and Infinix promises three major Android upgrades, so it should stay current for a while. The display is a gorgeous 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with a buttery smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits that is seriously bright outdoors. Oh, and it even has customizable RGB LEDs on the back and dual pressure sensitive gaming triggers details that hardcore mobile gamers will really appreciate.

EN→DEOverall, we’re very satisfied with what the Infinix GT 50 Pro offers in terms of performance and overall user experience. It’s great for gamers who don’t want to splurge on a more expensive gaming phone, and at the same time, it is also perfect as an everyday phone. The camera got an upgrade, but the battery is still lacking, which is expected. As for the aesthetic, well, style is subjective after all. Thankfully, there is bypass charging too. As for the price, at the time of writing, Infinix has yet to release the price of the GT 50 Pro for the Philippines. Globally, prices start at around USD 406 or roughly PHP 24,600 for the Infinix GT 50 Pro. Assuming the Philippines follows global pricing, there is a big jump from its predecessor. But so far, what do you guys think of the Infinix GT 50 Pro? Is it still the go-to mid-range gaming phone you’ll choose or would you pick something else?

EN→DEThis really all depends mainly on one thing. Is the Infinix GT 50 Pro available in your region? If you live in the US, I can’t really recommend this phone since it’s not going to officially launch here. It’s a fine piece of hardware, and I think Infinix did a decent job at putting together a really solid gaming phone that’s also affordable. However, I think there are also other options available at affordable prices that have the potential for better performance, like the devices from REDMAGIC. At least if you’re in the US. If you live outside the US and are in a region where this phone is available officially, I think it’s a really solid contender for a phone that you should consider.
