Leak: Google Pixel Tag startet mit Pixel 11 und Pixel Watch 5

Moderne Bluetooth-Tracker gibt es viele, teils von Herstellern wie Apple oder Samsung, teils aber auch von Drittanbietern. Nur Google hatte bis dato kein entsprechendes Gerät für das Pixel-Universum anzubieten, was sich 2026 offenbar ändern wird, wie 9to5Google entdeckte. Derzeit leaken nicht nur sämtliche Pixel-Neuheiten im Smartphone- und Smartwatch-Bereich, auch zum offenbar "Pixel Tag" benannten Google-Tracker sind nun konkrete Hinweise in Datenbanken aufgetaucht, die etwa die Modellnummer GA12506 nennen. 

Der Google Pixel Tag wird zumindest in der Farbe "Fog Light" zu haben sein und offenbar im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Trackern eine pillenförmige Form aufweisen, wie das Bild unten zeigt. In der Mitte prangt das bekannte Google-Logo, darunter ist eine LED integriert, auch ein Lautsprecher ist an Bord. Analog zum Apple AirTag ist der Pixel Tracker offenbar nackt, es wird also wohl externe Hüllen für das neue Google-Zubehör geben. Der Pixel Tag integriert Zubehör wie Schlüssel ins "Finde mein Gerät" Netzwerk in Android, wie die ebenfalls geleakte Marketing-Beschreibung verrät:

Technische Daten sind vorerst nicht bekannt, insbesondere ist unklar ob UWB (Ultraweitband) unterstützt wird. Laut @evleaks startet das neue Google-Accessoire gemeinsam mit der Pixel 11 und Pixel Watch 5 Generation am 12. August und wird zwischen 29 und 39 US-Dollar kosten.
