EN→DE Archive.org versionOnce the smoke has cleared, I can’t say that the Lenovo Edge 15 comes out on top against traditional notebooks handily. In fact, I’d say it’s pretty much a draw. The Stand Mode doesn’t add a lot, though its touch screen display is a clear winner. If you’re sure you want a touch display in your next laptop than the Lenovo Edge 15 is a great fit — provided you’re not looking for anything that’s ultra-portable. If you are looking for an ultra-portable or something that is great for entertainment away from a desk the Lenovo Edge 15 isn’t it. It fights the good fight, but loses the war.

Die Lenovo Edge-Serie stammt von den Herstellern des Lenovo Yoga 360-Grad-Convertible-Notebooks. Es ist etwas weniger vielseitig, macht dies aber mit sehr vernünftigen Preisen wett. Die Edge-Serie von Lenovo ist im Wesentlichen ein Notebook mit 300-Grad-Scharnier und zwei Modi: Laptop-Modus für Arbeit und Stand-Modus für das Anschauen von Ihren Lieblingsfilmen.
Die Budget-Version des Yoga ist ein Must-Have für alle die am Sparkurs sind und dieses portable und dennoch funktionale Zwei-in-Eins-Gadget mögen. Das Edge verfügt über einen glänzenden Bildschirm mit einer Auflösung von 1920 x 1080 Pixeln und einer Pixeldichte von 141 ppi. Die Hardware umfasst einen Intel Core i5 processor, 6 GB DDR3L RAM, eine 1 TB 5400 U/min Festplatte und eine NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M Grafikkarte.
Der Prozessor kann optional auf einen Intel Core i7 und der Hauptspeicher auf 8 GB aufgerüstet werden. Es handelt sich um ein elegantes, kleines Gerät mit einer Bauhöhe von 23 mm und einem Gewicht von 2,41 kg, was für diese Kategorie akzeptabel ist. Die Akkulaufzeit von 4-6 Stunden bei durchschnittlicher Helligkeit ist beeindruckend und eignet sich perfekt für das Teilen von Bildern und Ihren Lieblings-Clips und -Filmen mit Freunden beim Essen.
Intel HD Graphics 4400: In den Haswell-Prozessoren (4. Generation Core) integrierte Grafikkarte in mittlerer Ausbaustufe (GT2). Je nach Prozessor unterschiedlich getaktet.
Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
