Gigabyte P55 V4
Das Gigabyte P55 gehörte schon immer zu den größten Gaming-Laptops. Das V4 verfügt über eine Broadwell CPU. Wie bei seinen Vorgängern ist das Äußere aus Kunststoff, doch es sieht elegant aus und macht das Gerät zu einem der leichtesten Gaming-Notebooks. Die Verarbeitung ist ziemlich gut und das Gehäuse ist ausreichend fest. Das P55 V4 hat orange Streifen an seinen Seiten, was für einen Profi-Einsatz, etwa bei einem Geschäfts-Meeting, nicht seriös genug aussieht. Das Touchpad ist ausreichend glatt, doch es könnte größer sein. Der 15,6 Zoll große LG LP156WF4-SPK1 Bildschirm nutzt IPS-Technologie und löst in Full-HD auf. Die Helligkeit scheint allerdings etwas zu niedrig für einen Außeneinsatz. Zudem sind die eingebauten Lautsprecher für einen Gaming-Laptop nicht angemessen. Im Inneren arbeiten ein Broadwell i7 Prozessor mit einer Taktrate von 2,7 Ghz - 3,5 GHz, eine Nvidia GTX 970M mit 3 GB DDR5 VRAM, 16 GB RAM und eine Kombination aus 128 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD für Betriebssystem und Speicher. Die Hardware ist eine ziemlich seriöse Konfiguration. Doch das P55 hat einige Schwächen, etwa eine WiFi-Karte, die Standards ac nicht unterstützt, und hohe CPU- und GPU-Temperaturen. Zudem fehlt ein USB-3.1-Port. Das Gigabyte P55 V4 ist ein guter Gaming-Laptop, doch der höhere Preis ist in Anbetracht der zahlreichen Konkurrenten und dem Fehlen eines neueren USB-3.1-Ports kaum gerechtfertigt.Ausstattung / Datenblatt

Gigabyte bietet eine breite Palette an Produkten an, darunter Motherboards, Grafikkarten, Laptops, Monitore, Systeme und Komponenten. Gigabytes Laptops bieten Gaming- und Kreativfunktionen für unterwegs. Gigabyte-Monitore bieten 4K Pro Gaming.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
