Das Handy hat eine UVP von 269,99 Euro für 128 GB Flash und 6 GB RAM sowie 299,99 Euro für 256 GB Flash und 8 GB RAM. Beim Hersteller selbst ist das HMD Fusion aktuell aber schon für 229,99 Euro (128 GB) respek­tive 249,99 Euro (256 GB) zu haben. Diverse Shops sind sogar noch güns­tiger. Zu einem ähnli­chen Preis erhalten Sie das Samsung Galaxy M35. Jenes hat ein höher auflö­sendes Super-AMOLED-Display, eine Ultra­weit­winkel-Kamera und einen größeren Akku (6000 mAh). Außerdem ist der Chip­satz Exynos 1380 etwas schneller. Full HD+ und eine Ultra­weit­winkel-Kamera hätten wir uns auch für das HMD Fusion gewünscht. Im Alltag ist das dunkle Display bei viel Sonne zudem etwas hinder­lich.

But in terms of longevity, HMD is on the right track. The major components of the HMD Fusion can be replaced on a shoestring budget. Whether you’re the clumsy type, have young, careless, and energetic kids, or tend to hold onto your headset until the battery can’t support your lifestyle, potential problems are a bargain fix. A slight discount covers the cost of the screen. But if you’re certain you need a screen with gorgeous colours and bright highlights, this isn’t the one for you. Try for a discounted Samsung Galaxy A35 or the Motorola Moto G55. And if you love a good book, the TCL 50 Pro Nxtpaper 5G is sublime.

The HMD Fusion was designed with repairability and sustainability in mind, which you will rarely find in other smartphones these days. The hardware inside the phone is also quite decent. The display is color-accurate and can get decently bright. The chipset is quite good and can play many of the latest mobile games. Even the camera and the battery performance are quite good. The pricing is a bit high compared to other smartphones in the market with the same hardware, but none of them have the same DIY repair capability as this phone. The closest alternative phone is the Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus, which has far better features inside but costs a little more. However, the final decision is up to you, so it is better to choose a smartphone based on your requirements and needs.

Qualcomm Adreno 613: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. Obwohl es der Nachfolger des Adreno 619 im SD 4 Gen 1 ist, liegt die Performance deutlich darunter in der Einstiegsklasse.

Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen.  Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.
