The top and palmrests are covered in brushed metal, with durable metal hinges, and it’s attached directly to the magnesium subframe. It has a drain in the keyboard tray for liquids, it can withstand an adult’s direct weight on the lid, and frame flex is nonexistent. The addition of the TPM chip and biometric sensor create a comprehensive security package that protects your laptop/data/livelihood from destruction. As a machine, the EliteBook laptop provides connectivity, security, speed, and durability at 4.59 lbs (2.08 kg) and for a reasonable $999. The only significant design detractions are the small touchpad and the average battery life. But those quibbles are minor, and the overall impression is that this laptop is ready for pretty much anything. Heck, this laptop may outlive you if you give it the chance. Comments

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Intel HD Graphics oder GMA HD genannte onboard Grafikkarte welche im Package der Core i3/i5/i7 Arrandale Dual-Core Prozessoren untergebracht wird. Je nach Prozessormodell maximal mit 500 bis 766 MHz getaktet (Turbo Boost). Von Lenovo anscheinend auch GMA5700MHD genannt. Die gleichgenannte Intel HD Graphics Prozessorgrafik in den Sandy Bridge Prozessoren basiert auf einer neueren Architektur.
Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen. Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.

560M: Der Core i5-560M ist ein schneller Dual-Core Prozessor und besitzt im Vergleich zum i7-620 nur 3MB L3 Cache und taktet zwischen 2.67-3.2 GHz (je nach Auslastung dank Turbo Boost). Durch Hyperthreading werden bis zu 4 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeitet. Im Package ist auch noch eine integrierte Grafikkarte (GMA HD mit 766 MHz) und ein Speichercontroller (beide noch 45nm Fertigung).
