80% Honor Pad V9 Review

Honor has made an ideal mid-ranger with the Pad V9. It doesn’t excel at anything, but it’s a solid jack of all trades that is equally at home playing games or streaming video as it is displaying spreadsheets or tiling documents across its screen. Its weak spot is its camera, but that’s less of a problem for tablets than it is for phones.

90% Honor Pad V9 review: The iPad challenger
Quelle: Tech Advisor Englisch EN→DE
It’s a tablet that’s made for performance, with a beautiful display. We’re impressed by the Honor Pad V9 and believe it’s a genuine rival to Apple’s iPad lineup. We’d like to see better cameras in future, but for now, it’s a fantastic overall package.

Buy A Budget Tablet in 2025? | Honor Pad V9 Review
Quelle: Tech Spurt Englisch
Budget tablets like the Honor Pad V9 are proving popular in 2025, along with rivals like the OnePlus Pad 2 and Xiaomi Pad 7. I've been testing the Honor Pad V9 for a week now and here's my full review, including gaming, battery life and the MagicOS experience. For a budget price, this 11-inch Android tablet boasts some pretty impressive performance. Mediatek's Dimensity 8350 'Elite' can cope with gaming on Wuthering Waves, even on higher graphics settings. The Honor Pad V9 also serves up pretty decent battery life - approximately ten hours of mixed use on a single charge, with plenty of split-screen action.

80% HONOR Pad V9 review: it's thin, lightweight with support for all popular media formats
Quelle: Neowin Englisch EN→DE
I found the display to be quite vibrant, despite "only" being an IPS LCD, 500 nits of brightness is also passable to be able to watch a movie in HDR, and I did not have too much trouble viewing the screen under direct sunlight. It also ticks the boxes on media consumption support and for being well under half a kilo. What's not to like? Well it does not support cellular, for things like a data SIM so perhaps €499.90/£329.99 is a bit of a big ask, but with the automatic €50/£70 savings €449/£329.99 sounds quite a bit better for this light and thin premium looking tablet if you consider the older, but comparable 12-inch 10th gen iPad can be bought for around the same price these days.

80% The Honor Pad V9 is the mid-range, Android-powered iPad rival you've been looking for
Quelle: Techradar Englisch EN→DE
The Honor Pad V9 boasts decent specs for its price, especially in the audio and display departments, but it's pushed into serious iPad rival territory by a range of genuinely useful productivity features that are as good as you'll find anywhere else. Put simply, this is one of the best mid-range Android slates on the market.

80% I just tested my new favorite Android tablet — here’s why the Honor Pad V9 takes on the iPad (and wins)

The Honor Pad V9 takes everything I liked about the Pad 9, and takes it up a notch — improving performance, upgrading the display, vastly increasing battery life, and packing it all into a smaller, thinner chassis.

90% Honor Pad V9 review: It's a good time with more Google than ever
Quelle: Android Central Englisch EN→DE
The Honor Pad V9 sits nicely between cheap tablets like the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and more premium options like the OnePlus Pad 2. It's got a powerful newer MediaTek processor, an incredible 144Hz display that'll have you wondering why more LCDs aren't this good, as well as an impressive 8-speaker system that sounds too good to be in a tablet. Honor even launched this one with the latest version of Android, fixing past mistakes. It also includes Honor's latest display eye care solutions, support for its best tablet accessories like the Magic Pencil 3, and battery life that'll get you through the longest of flights. It's a superb choice, so long as you don't need something special like ingress protection or cellular connectivity.

Honor Pad V9 vs Honor Pad 9: What’s the difference?
Quelle: Expert Reviews Englisch EN→DE
I’m really not a fan of the naming convention; this kind of arbitrary labelling only serves to confuse people and make it more difficult to quickly and cleanly determine which tablet is better. This easily could have (and should have) been the Honor Pad 10, or at least Honor Pad 9 Pro, to account for the additional features. However, the Honor Pad V9 is only £399 and, at that price, it looks like a bargain.

This ultraportable Android tablet has set a new bar for me - and it's not a Samsung or Google
Quelle: Zdnet.com Englisch EN→DE
The Honor Pad V9 is so superior to other tablets in its price range that it's hard to narrow the list of top-performing features into a single review. Going from an iPad Mini that goes everywhere with me to the Honor Pad V9 had me doing even more on my tablet than before. Thanks to the tablet's eye protection features, I've found myself reaching for my tablet to stream shows rather than watching TV and even using it for reading instead of my Kindle (though not often). In addition, the tablet uses AI to prioritize voice and reduce noise during video calls, so I was able to use the 8MP front-facing camera for press briefings and work meetings. The near 4K-resolution display (2800x1840 pixels) is so crisp that most available media doesn't do it justice.

80% Honor Pad V9 Review: A Low-Price Tablet With A Loud Bark And A Little Bite
Quelle: Slashgear Englisch EN→DE
This tablet will be coming to market for 250 Euros (approximately $260 if you convert to USD right this minute) — and that price may be a bit different depending on your region. You are getting a lot of tablet for that price. Arguably the most annoying parts about this tablet are the dated software, and the apps you didn't ask for. Aside from those two things, you're getting a lot of tablet for your money. It's definitely better than an Amazon Fire tablet for one main reason — Google. The Google Play store has all the apps and games you could want for this tablet. There are some other options at this price point, but this is by far my favorite. It's large, thin, and has really good sound and can be had for a good price.

80% HONOR Pad V9 Ultimate Review: The Eye-Friendly Tablet that Might Replace your iPad
Quelle: Android Headlines Englisch EN→DE
Going into the review of the HONOR Pad V9, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Having used the Magic Pad 2 12.3, which I quite liked, I knew the Pad V9 was going to be a step down. However, I wasn’t sure how much of a step down it would be. I was pleasantly surprised with how good this tablet has been, and it might just become my new favorite tablet.
