Das Poco F5 kommt etwas kompakter und damit handlicher als der Vorgänger Poco F4 daher. Gleichzeitig bietet es einen größeren Akku und einen merklich schnelleren Prozessor. Ausdauer und vor allem die Performance sind in dieser Preisklasse angemessen. Die Kamera hinterließ einen guten Eindruck. Das F5 ist im wörtlichen und übertragenden Sinn runder als das Poco F4. Der Nachfolger Poco F6 ist zwar etwas teuer, aber aktueller, schneller und hat eine matte Rückseite.

Das Notebook, egal ob nun 16 oder 17 Zoll, ist ein weiterhin ein sehr ausgereiftes Stück Technik, welches unter Betrachtung einiger Anwendungsgebiete perfekt dafür geeignet zu sein scheint.

Insgesamt bekommt man mit dem LG gram Pro 17 ein leistungsstarkes und sehr portables 17-Zoll-Ultrabook der Premium-Klasse. Premium ist aber auch der Preis: Fast 2.200 Euro will LG für unsere Testkonfiguration.

Finally, this laptop's price tag might make it a tough sell: the Gram Pro 17 currently goes for $2,499 on LG's website. Keep in mind, you can opt for a less powerful configuration to bring the price down, but it won't decrease all that much. This is a price point that proves that committing to an ultra-portable form factor does have a cost -- and whether or not that's worth it is up to you. The 2024 LG gram Pro 17 suffers a huge reversal of fortune. This former Editor’s Choice winner has fallen to the rear of the pack. LG’s decision to stick with the RTX 3050 is the root of the problem. Last year, before the Intel Core Ultra series debuted, the RTX 3050 more than doubled performance over Intel’s Iris Xe integrated graphics. But the launch of Arc graphics brought an integrated upgrade that reduces the RTX 3050’s advantage. The result is a $500 upgrade that’s hardly an upgrade at all. LG’s mistake is worsened by the fact that most competitors, like the Dell XPS 17 and Apple MacBook Pro 16 M3, have received a graphics upgrade since then. In a strange twist of fate, the Intel Core Ultra also hurts the gram Pro 17’s relative processor performance.

Intel Arc 8-Core: Integrierte Grafikkarte basierend auf die Xe LPG Architektur (ähnlich zu den dedizierten Arc GPUs, jedoch mit Fokus auf Effizienz). Bietet alle 8 Xe Kerne (128 Xe Vector Engines) und 8 Raytracing Einheiten.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
