While the Lenovo TAB A8 doesn't offer anything in particular that makes it stand out from the crowd of competing slates, it has a lot of good things going for it, battery life arguably being at the top of them all. The design is solid but light, and the display -- while not the sharpest out there -- is bright and suitable to the needs of casual users.

At $179, the Lenovo A8 stacks up well against other 8-inch Android tablets, as it offers longer battery life and a richer and more accurate (albeit dimmer) screen. With any budget tablet, you have to temper your expectations, as the A8 had trouble on more demanding activities, such as 3D games. But if you're looking for an inexpensive and portable Android tablet, the Lenovo A8 is a solid option.

3D Spiele sind auf diesen Vertretern nur in Ausnahmen spielbar, grundsätzlich sind die Grafiklösungen hierfür jedoch nicht geeignet. Office Programme und Internet surfen dürfte jedoch ohne Problem möglich sein.
