EN→DEToshiba's Satellite L645D-S4037 offers some surprising performance thanks to the triple core AMD Phenom processor that is great for anyone that multitasks heavily or happens to like to work with video. The laptop also features a larger than average hard drive for those that need to store lots of files. The downside is that the laptop has one of the shorter running times for its price and it does not feature an HDMI connector for use with an external monitor or HDTV.

EN→DEReviewing the Toshiba L645D-S4106 has left me with decidedly mixed feelings. Cheap Arrandale-based notebooks are going to provide better processor performance than even AMD's fastest in the L645D, and they'll offer better battery life in the process. Likewise, I really wish Toshiba would just put glossy plastic out to pasture.

ATI Radeon HD 4250:
onboard Grafikchip von AMD (im RS880M Chipsatz) mit Avivo HD (jetzt UVD2 mit PIP Support) und guter 3D Leistung (für einen onboard Chipsatz).
ATI Radeon HD 4225:
onboard Grafikchip im RS880M Chipsatz von AMD mit Avivo HD (jetzt UVD2 mit PIP Support) und guter 3D Leistung (für einen onboard Chipsatz). Technisch eine geringer getaktete HD 4250.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Intel HD Graphics oder GMA HD genannte onboard Grafikkarte welche im Package der Core i3/i5/i7 Arrandale Dual-Core Prozessoren untergebracht wird. Je nach Prozessormodell maximal mit 500 bis 766 MHz getaktet (Turbo Boost). Von Lenovo anscheinend auch GMA5700MHD genannt. Die gleichgenannte Intel HD Graphics Prozessorgrafik in den Sandy Bridge Prozessoren basiert auf einer neueren Architektur.

AMD Athlon II:
P320:
Einstiegs Dual-Core Prozessor mit integriertem DDR3-1066 Speicherkontroller und geringerem TDP von 25 Watt.
AMD Turion II:
P520: Einstiegsprozessor mit zwei Kernen und relativ geringen 25 Watt TDP spezifiziert. Aufgrund kleinem Level 2 Cache nicht sehr schnell pro MHz.
AMD Phenom II X3:
P820: Mobiler 3-Kern Prozessor und aufgrund des fehlenden Level 3 Cache basierend auf den Desktop Athlon II X3. Durch die geringe Taktfrequenz für Spieler nicht geeignet.
AMD Phenom II X2:
N660: Dual Core mit integriertem Speicherkontroller. Aufgrund des kleinen Level 2 Cache, jedoch nicht so schnell wie ähnlich getaktete Core 2 Duo Prozessoren. Basiert auf den Desktop Athlon II X2. Die Performance ist im Schnitt wahrscheinlich vergleichbar mit dem Core i3-370M.
Intel Pentium:
P6200: Der Pentium P6200 ist ein Einstiegsdoppelkernprozessor der Arrandale Serie. Virtualization VT-x bietet der P6200 nicht. Im Vergleich zu Core-i CPUs, fehlt Hyperthreading und TurboBoost.
14.0: 14 Zoll Display-Grösse stellt ein Mittelding zwischen den kleinen Subnotebook-Formaten und dem 15 Zoll-Standard-Display dar. Der Grund der Beliebtheit mittelgrosser Displays ist, dass diese Größe einigermaßen augenschonend ist und dennoch nicht allzu viel Strom verbraucht und die Geräte noch halbwegs kompakt sein können.

Diese Subnotebooks sind deutlich leichter als der Durchschnitt aller Notebooks, stellen aber die höhere Gewichtsklasse unter den Subnotebooks dar. 13 Zoll Displays passen in diesen Gewichtsbereich.
2.4 kg:
Dieses Notebook ist etwas leichter als der Durchschnitt aller Notebooks. Für Subnotebooks ist das bereits zu schwer. 14 Zoll Displays passen in diesen Gewichtsbereich.
70.67%: Diese Bewertung ist schlecht. Die meisten Notebooks werden besser beurteilt. Als Kaufempfehlung darf man das nicht sehen. Auch wenn Verbalbewertungen in diesem Bereich gar nicht so schlecht klingen ("genügend" oder "befriedigend"), meist sind es Euphemismen, die eine Klassifikation als unterdurchschnittliches Notebook verschleiern.
