EN→DEThe Asus ExpertBook Ultra is not perfect, but its premium configuration places it in the league of some established premium business laptops. While the design is sleek and professional, some users may find it a bit conservative, but that’s a relatively minor concern. The device succeeds mainly because it focuses on practical everyday improvements. It feels like a laptop designed by people who understand how professionals actually work. For executives, creators, consultants, or anyone constantly on the move, the Asus ExpertBook Ultra stands out as one of the most complete Windows business laptops available today.

EN→DEIf you are looking for a premium Windows laptop that checks every box and is the most reliable option for your daily business tasks, then the Asus ExpertBook Ultra is the one to get. Its ultra-thin and lightweight design makes it easy to carry anywhere without feeling heavy. It can withstand accidental drops and even spills of coffee or water. Intel Core Ultra 3 delivers exceptional performance for browsing, multitasking, and opening multiple applications. It can handle everything you throw at it. The tandem OLED is one of the best-looking displays with maximum brightness support if you often work outdoors. The battery can last a full day of work; you don’t need to charge it midday. It has plenty of ports, so you don’t need to carry an extra adapter to connect all your peripherals.

EN→DEAt a starting price of Rs. 2,39,990 and stretching up to Rs. 3,49,990 for this maxed-out variant, the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra is playing in serious luxury territory. This is a segment ruled by legacy heavyweights and strong brand pull, and ASUS is clearly aiming to earn its seat at that table. Yes, it looks expensive next to something like the Dell XPS 14, but the spec sheet tells a different story. You're getting double the RAM, double the storage, cutting-edge Gen 5 speeds, stronger thermals, and that genuinely game-changing matte OLED display. It's not just a business laptop anymore; it's a business laptop that decided to glow up. That said, it's not trying to be perfect, and it shows in small ways. The display trades a bit of cinematic punch for real-world usability, and the price is undeniably steep. But the bigger hurdle isn't hardware, it's perception. Apple and Dell have spent years building aspirational value in this space, and ASUS is still knocking on that door. The ExpertBook Ultra has all the right ingredients, but it needs buyers willing to look beyond the logo. In the end, this is a machine for someone who values substance over status. It's for the professional who wants serious power in a ridiculously portable form, without compromising on the experience. If the badge matters less than what's inside, this one absolutely delivers.

EN→DEWith a premium and lightweight build, latest-gen OLED touch display with a matte coating, a compelling implementation of the Intel Panther Lake Core Ultra X7 hardware, a large battery and decent efficiency, good IO, and punchy audio, the Asus ExpertBook Ultra is one of the top Windows ultrabooks available today. Too bad the designers let a few quirks slip by, some of them quite difficult to accept in a 2500+ EUR device.

The ExpertBook Ultra with Intel Core X7 is planned to launch in May, and an ExpertBook Ultra configuration with Intel Core X9 is also planned to launch later in Q2/early Q3. Additionally, final pricing will be announced closer to on-shelf availability. Pricing of the ExpertBook Ultra is positioned to compete in the premium business thin and light segment, alongside similarly configured systems such as the Dell Pro 14 Premium, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14, HP EliteBook X G1i 14, etc.

EN→DEHandling a device designed for executives of high-profile companies is a distinct experience. It is difficult to describe the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra as a fully versatile device, particularly given its price point. However, many of its components – such as the metal-aluminum chassis, Tandem OLED display, the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, and notable battery life – are available in other ASUS models. What sets this laptop apart is the combination of these elements in a single 14-inch device. For this reason, the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra can be considered a recommended option within its segment.

EN→DEThe ASUS ExpertBook Ultra B9406CAA is a masterclass in material science and display technology. It is incredibly fast, impossibly light, and lasts a full day on a charge. At RM9,999, the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra B9406CAA is an investment in the future of mobile work. While it faces stiff competition from the usual suspects in the premium space, the combination of the Tandem OLED and the raw efficiency of the Panther Lake architecture makes it a unique proposition for local professionals who refuse to carry a charger. If you can look past the slight hinge quirk and that exposed display cable, this is arguably the most advanced business laptop you can buy in Malaysia today.

EN→DEWe've reviewed some good ExpertBook laptops before, but the Ultra takes the line to a whole new level. This laptop's built and specified to compete with the big hitters of the thin-and-light form factor; laptops like the old Dell XPS 13, HP EliteBook X, and MacBook Air. The fact that it can go toe-to-toe with any of them, even beating them in areas, shows exactly how strong this laptop is. It's a premium device with pricing to match, and so out of reach of some businesses and budgets, but if you're in the market for a high-end ultraportable the ExpertBook Ultra is up there with the best.

EN→DEOn the surface, this is an executive-level AI-powered 14-inch laptop, designed for professional use. In reality, it's a laptop powerhouse that features the latest Intel Core Ultra 7X processor and Arc B390 GPU that powered through every work-based application I threw at it, with all the backing of AI enhancement. Throughout these tests, this stunning laptop didn't fail to impress from design to performance, but it was the incredible transfer rates offered by the internal SSD that truly hinted at the potential within.

In this review, I test the new Intel® Core™ Ultra X7 Series 3 processor and the insane Intel Arc B390 iGPU to see if Intel is truly back. From a Tandem OLED display that makes the MacBook look dull to 1080p gaming benchmarks that shouldn't be possible on a thin-and-light, this laptop changes everything.

EN→DEThe Asus ExpertBook Ultra is a solid premium business laptop and a significant escalation of Asus’ profile in the space. It’s attractive and light, it has a great keyboard and touchpad, and it offers an easy-to-view matte OLED display. Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H, meanwhile, delivers great marks across the board with good multi-core CPU performance and outstanding integrated graphics performance. I can find a couple nitpicks. The battery life is just mediocre and the webcam is merely adequate. But in these areas the laptop is competitive—it just doesn’t stand out.

EN→DEThe PC landscape is changing fast, and users will have to adjust their expectations. That doesn’t mean lowering them. The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra proves that. We’ve reached a point where an ultra-lightweight business machine can go toe-to-toe with mid-range gaming rigs. The ExpertBook Ultra won’t be cheap, but even at a premium, it will still be a compelling business solution and likely a more affordable, durable alternative to a dedicated gaming laptop. The ExpertBook Ultra is only 14 inches, but it’s going to be huge. ASUS has put together something special and done the unthinkable: made a Copilot+ Device that can finally compete with a MacBook. The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra is one of the most exciting flagship ultrabooks in years. Beautiful, durable, and high-performance, it’s equally capable of handling professional workflows or facilitating covert gaming sessions at the office.

EN→DEWhen it comes to naming devices, hardware vendors generally use either 'Pro' or 'Ultra' to indicate the most premium model. And it's the latter for Asus and its all-new ExpertBook Ultra, unveiled at CES 2026. As part of a wider refresh of its main brands (Zenbook, VivoBook, ProArt, and ROG), the ExpertBook Ultra replaces the B9 as the top commercial offering from Asus. And as the name suggests, it's a laptop with all the best specs the hardware giant can offer; it's ultra durable, ultra fast, ultra cool, and ultra reliable (according to Asus, that is). Toughness is one of the main selling points here. The Ultra is made for modern work and the wear and tear of doing your job in different places.
