EN→DEThe Pixel 11 is less about a dramatic hardware upgrade and more about refining Google’s idea of what a modern smartphone should be. The familiar design, compact 197-gram body and excellent 6.3-inch display make it comfortable to use, while the main camera remains the phone’s biggest strength. Images have plenty of detail, strong dynamic range and natural-looking colours, and the 5x telephoto adds useful versatility.

EN→DEThe Pixel 11 is a bigger upgrade than it looks on paper. Yes, it’s $100 more expensive than the Pixel 10 at $899, and the Pixel 11’s performance simply doesn’t match similarly priced flagships. It’s also riddled with upgrades, including double the base storage, a larger primary camera, faster Qi2.2 25W wireless charging, and a slimmer camera bar. EN→DEI think there is a very strong case for suggesting the Pixel 11 over the other Pixel 11 series phones, just based on the savings alone. Sure, it doesn’t have the pro camera features like the 120x zoom, but it does take a really good picture, it’s more pocketable, and it comes in some awesome colors so it’s definitely stylish and well-designed. Across the board the Pixel 11 provides a great experience for the average user, and only those who want the better camera and additional features would find this phone lacking too much for their personal taste.

The camera is superb for a phone of this price, the battery is the best in the lineup outside of the largest and most expensive model, software is clean, and the size is right. EN→DEI'm a little torn because the biggest problem with the Pixel 11 is that it's just not a very interesting year-over-year upgrade. Aside from slimming down the camera bar and adding a couple of (admittedly neat) AI doohickeys, you could spend less money to get a Pixel 10 and still largely have the same experience if you're upgrading from something significantly older. EN→DEI haven't used an Android phone full-time for a few years, and I really enjoyed my time with the Pixel 11. Many of the AI-powered features Google has developed here feel genuinely useful — I don't care about making images with Nano Banana, but anything that helps me organize and stay on top of my chaotic life is welcome. Photography remains a strength and I hope Apple feels some pressure to add a third lens to the basic iPhone 18.

EN→DEThere’s a lot to like about the Pixel 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro XL. MediaTek’s M90 5G modem and the upgraded cameras are welcome improvements. So are the Pixel 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL’s brighter screens, and the Pixel 11’s slightly larger battery and faster wireless charging.

I’ve spent a full week using the Pixel 11 as my main phone, and while it’s a solid device, it’s clear that Google has taken an iterative approach this year that might frustrate and annoy new and longtime fans alike.

EN→DEOn the whole, the Pixel 11 is a really good phone. It gets a lot right, has a solid camera system, and a bunch of smart features that make the phone feel more helpful than competitors. At the same time, Google’s hardware remains a bit behind the curve, and price increases don’t help matters either.

EN→DEAI made your next phone more expensive. Google’s counterargument is that AI is also what makes it worth buying. The Pixel 11 series takes a break from major design overhauls and keeps things very similar to last year’s Pixel lineup. It’s also trying even harder to get more iPhone users to switch, with a new setup experience that can move over your home screen layout, apps, contacts, photos, eSIM, and more.

EN→DEFor the Pixel 11, the cost is pretty much the same as the 10, going up $20. It’s worth noting that the price disparity between the Pixel 10 and 11 looks great, but that’s because it started at 128GB of storage. This is similar to the Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 10 Pro, which started at 128GB and now go up to 256GB.

EN→DEThere is a lot to like about the Pixel 11 based on this initial introduction: faster wireless charging and a 512GB storage option are appreciated, and the Tensor G6 may well prove a boon to both battery life and camera results. The removal of the 128GB model means the starting price is £100 more than last year, but at least Google has kept the cost of the 256GB version at the same £899 as before.

EN→DEGoogle has just launched a boatload of new devices, including four new phones, a new watch, and a brand-new tag device which you can attach to any inanimate object you don’t want to lose sight of. Today, I want to focus on the Pixel 11 smartphone series, because that’s what I’ve had most hands-on time with.

The cameras are better, but Google also cut RAM on the Pro models, shrank the batteries on three of the four phones, and raised prices across the board. Here's everything that changed, including the downgrades nobody's mentioning. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL now start at 12GB of RAM instead of 16GB.

Imagination CXTP-48-1536:
