EN→DEThe Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 is a solid machine that is also portable and light. At the same time, the performance is always there when you need it. The cooling doesn’t look impressive at all but the CPU can maintain a high P and E core clock in short and medium loads. The frequencies are also good even in longer stress no matter the 21W power limit. Comfort-wise, all looks great. The fan is almost quiet and the keyboard will not burn your fingers when the processor is pounded with heavy loads. The 16:10 1200p IPS display (CSOT MNE007JA1-1 (LEN403A)) impresses with a 99% sRGB coverage, very good contrast ratio, and superb color accuracy with the aid of our “Design and Gaming” profile. The display is also PWM-free which is a must for a laptop that is meant for work. All this means you can use the notebook for color-sensitive tasks. The device is light – the maximum possible weight is 1.42kg. The profile is 17.9 mm so this fella can fit in most suitcases effortlessly. The charger weighs almost nothing so you can put it in one of your pockets.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
