With that said, we would probably play the safe game and tell you to just go for something bulkier. However, it totally depends on what you intend to do on your laptop PC. From our gaming tests, we could say that you can surely play most of the latest AAA titles at around 45-70 fps on Ultra at 1920 x 1080p resolution. And this was with the RTX 2070 graphics card onboard. However, we had the feeling that this GPU was underperforming in this laptop.

It does, however, strike a very strong balance between the working professional and the gaming enthusiast. There is very little argument that this laptop doesn’t hold significant advantages in many areas of both work and play and frankly, would be ideal for someone who wants a reliable working companion who is capable of fun when you clock off for the day! Admittedly, I would’ve preferred to see some better temperature levels as noise is perhaps the only key detracting factor from this laptop. For general usage, however, this will never be an issue.

Asus ROG Zephyrus S GX502GW-ES010T
Ein weiteres erstklassiges Gaming-Notebook von Asus. Das GX502 ist eigentlich eine neue Serie in der Zephyrus-S-Produktlinie. Ich könnte nicht sagen, dass sich im Vergleich zu anderen Modellen viel geändert hat, da es schwierig ist, die Namenskonventionen einzelner Serien und Modelle stets im Auge zu behalten und erfolgreich zu vergleichen. Aber als Spieler interessiert Sie das nicht. Beim Test dieses Laptops fragte ich mich immer wieder, für wen ist dieser Laptop gemacht ist. Für eine solch gute Leistung ist er leicht: nur knapp 2 kg. Ich erachte ihn also als portabel. Zum Spielen und für andere prozessorlastige Aufgaben ist er genau richtig. Somit wäre er, abgesehen von einem kleinen Detail, für mich ideal. Es gibt keine Webcam. Ist das wichtig? Das hängt von Ihrem Profil ab. Wollen Sie nur spielen und an anderen persönlichen Dingen arbeiten, ist dieser Laptop sicher richtig. Wenn Sie jedoch wie ich von Zeit zu Zeit einige Webanrufe tätigen möchten, müssen Sie meistens eine tragbare Kamera mitnehmen. Ansonsten gibt es, wie gesagt, nicht viel zu kritisieren. Die Leistung ist auf höchstem Niveau. Ich muss sagen, Asus leistet gute Arbeit bei der Verwaltung des Laptops. Es gibt eine App, mit der Sie hier und da Dinge optimieren und die am besten zu Ihnen passende Einstellung finden können. Die RTX 2070 GPU wurde von Asus weiterentwickelt und für eine bessere Leistung optimiert. Daher ist ihre Leistung nicht mit RTX 2070 Grafikkarten in anderen Laptops vergleichbar ist, sondern es könnte sich um ein RTX 2080 Max-Q-Modell handeln. Um eine Entscheidung zu treffen, sollten Sie auf Ihr Budget achten. Wenn Sie ein Gaming-Gerät möchten, sollten Sie sich zunächst fragen, wie wie mobil Sie sein werden. Denn Desktop-Optionen bieten Ihnen immer mehr Freiheit in Bezug auf Spezifikation und Aufrüstbarkeit. Das GX502GW hat definitiv Konkurrenten von MSI, Dell und Acer mit zumindest fast gleichen Spezifikationen zu unterschiedlichen Preisen bieten. Wenn Ihnen Ästhetik wichtig ist, sollten Sie bereit sein, mehr zu zahlen. Interessiert Sie nur Leistung zum günstigen Preis, müssen Sie woanders suchen. If I'm paying S$3,998 for this laptop, I really shouldn't have to pony up extra to get it running properly. This may be a memory management issue that is no fault of ASUS, but the Zephyrus S is a premium laptop, and it should offer top-notch performance right out of the box. These memory shenanigans might have been somewhat acceptable on the mid-range models, but nobody expects this from a flagship model like the Zephyrus S. Having said that, I also feel like the Zephyrus S is too good a laptop in other aspects to pass on just because it has one memory stick. If you're comfortable with performing your own upgrades and want a portable speedster of a laptop for work and play, this is definitely still worth a look.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. ist ein großer taiwanesischer Hersteller von Computer-Hardware mit Sitz in Taipeh, gegründet 1989. Unter dem Markennamen Asus fertigt das Unternehmen eine breite Palette von Produkten, darunter Laptops, Desktops, Motherboards, Grafikkarten, Monitore, Smartphones und Netzwerkgeräte, Komplettsysteme und PC-Bauteile für Endkunden.
Unter dem Markennamen ROG (Republic of Gamers) stellt ASUS Gaming-Laptops her, die bei Spielern für ihre leistungsstarken Spezifikationen, dedizierten Grafikkarten, Displays mit hoher Bildwiederholrate und fortschrittlichen Kühlsystemen bekannt sind.
Über das Gaming hinaus werden eine breite Palette von Notebooks für unterschiedliche Anforderungen und Budgets geboten: von ultraschlanken und leichten Ultrabooks bis hin zu vielseitigen 2-in-1-Convertibles und budgetfreundlichen Optionen. 2023 hatte Asus einen Weltmarktanteil von 7% am PC-Markts.
Die Kundenzufriedenheit mit ASUS-Notebooks betrifft Leistung, die Funktionen und das gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der ASUS-Notebooks. Wie bei jeder Marke gibt es jedoch gelegentlich Berichte über Probleme wie Überhitzung, Treiberkompatibilität oder Probleme mit der Verarbeitungsqualität.
Diese Grafikkarten sollten alle modernen Spiele flüssig darstellen können. Anspruchsvolle Spiele müssen jedoch in mittlerer Detailstufe gespielt werden. Ältere und weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie die Sims Serie können auch in hohen Detailsstufen flüssig dargestellt werden.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Mobile: High-End Notebook-Grafikkarte basierend auf die Desktop RTX 2070 jedoch bei deutlich reduzierten Taktraten der GPU.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile: Mid-Range Notebook-Grafikkarte mit 6 GDDR6-Grafikspeicher (192 Bit) und nach der offiziellen Vorstellung die drittschnellste mobile Turing-GPU. Verfügt über 1.920 Shadereinheiten und verglichen zu der Desktop-Variante mit verringerten Taktraten.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q: High-End Notebook-Grafikkarte basierend auf die Turing Architektur. Die Max-Q Variante ist die Stromsparvariante der mobilen RTX 2080 Super (Max-P) mit deutlich reduzierten Taktraten und Stromverbrauch. Der TGP ist spezifiziert mit 80 - 90 Watt und dadurch deutlich niedriger als bei der normalen 2080S Mobile mit 150 - 200 Watt.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Mobile: High-End Notebook-Grafikkarte mit einer etwa 10% höheren Leistung also die alte GeForce RTX 2070 für Laptops.

i7-9750H: Auf der Coffee-Lake-Architektur basierender SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für große Notebooks. Integriert unter anderem sechs CPU-Kerne mit 2,6 - 4,5 GHz (4 GHz bei allen 6 Kernen) und HyperThreading sowie eine Grafikeinheit und wird in 14-Nanometer-Technik gefertigt.
Intel Comet Lake:
i7-10875H: Auf der Comet-Lake-Architektur basierender SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für große Notebooks. Integriert unter anderem acht CPU-Kerne mit 2,3 - 5,1 GHz (4,3 bei allen 8 Kernen) und HyperThreading sowie eine Grafikeinheit und wird in 14-Nanometer-Technik gefertigt.
