Test: Apples iPad Pro M5 (11 Zoll) ist das beste Tablet seiner Klasse auf dem Markt. Die Leistung des M5-Chips ist konkurrenzlos, das Tandem-OLED-Display bleibt ungeschlagen und iPadOS 26 bietet einzigartige Multitasking-Features auf Mac-Niveau. Zwar könnten die Kameras etwas höher auflösen und die Lautsprecher ein wenig lauter sein, doch echte Schwachstellen sucht man ansonsten vergeblich. Auch das neue iPad Pro 11 Zoll 2025 ist Apple gut gelungen. Was schon beim Vorgängermodell top war, ist immer noch exzellent. Dazu kommen mehr Tempo und mehr Speicher. Ein Wechsel zum aktuellen Modell lohnt sich vor allem für User, die ein älteres iPad Pro haben. Wer dagegen letztes Jahr zugeschlagen hat, kann ruhig beim iPad Pro mit M4-Chip bleiben – das ist weiterhin erstklassig.

So it could be a little more budget-friendly, but it's better, in our opinion, than both those alternatives. This is, hands down, the most powerful tablet around.

Apple’s iPad Air M3 is nearly as capable on the performance front for around half the price, as long as you can live without perks like a smooth OLED display. If you happen to catch last year’s iPad Pro M4 on sale, you’ll barely be giving anything up for the lower price.

That said, anyone who bought the iPad Pro M4 for its display and not its brawn shouldn’t be reaching for their credit card or ApplePay quite yet. Those with older iPads that hit their limits on performance should definitely check it out, especially if you’re the kind of person who stopped shopping for the best laptops and switched over to the tablet world. The iPad Pro features one of the best portable screens I’ve ever seen, and that’s more than enough reason for many to upgrade. I can’t wait to get the iPad Pro M5 in my hands for our full and comprehensive review, so stay tuned.
