The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop. While it isn’t the premium laptop that some may be seeking, it matches a majority of their traits. Its webcam leaves much to be desired, and its keyboard and touchpad are your standard fare. However, these are qualities that even laptops over $1,000 struggle with, and its highlights outweigh its more disappointing qualities. Plus, it’s more understandable on a laptop that has a starting price of $899. If you are looking for more power, those interested can bump up the specs to have even better performance. Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs: Integrierte Grafikkarte (in Tiger-Lake G4 SoCs) der Gen. 12 Architektur mit 80 EUs. Z.B. in Tiger Lake i5 CPUs verbaute iGPU.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

i5-12500H: Auf der Alder-Lake-Architektur basierender High-End Mobilprozessor. Bietet 4 Performance-Kerne und 8 Effizienzkerne und kann 16 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten. 80%: Weltbewegend ist diese Bewertung nicht. Obwohl es bei den meisten Websites einem "Befriedigend" entspricht, muss man bedenken, dass es kaum Notebooks gibt, die unter 60% erhalten. Verbalbewertungen in diesem Bereich klingen oft nicht schlecht, sind aber oft verklausulierte Euphemismen. Dieses Notebook wird von den Testern eigentlich als unterdurchschnittlich angesehen, eine Kaufempfehlung kann man nur mit viel Wohlwollen darin sehen.
