It competes with the Lenovo ThinkPad P1, Razer Blade Studio and Advanced, 16” MacBook Pro and the Dell Precision 5550. With its solid keyboard, sleek and professional design, good speakers, and ample CPU/GPU performance, the HP ZBook Studio G7 makes a strong showing as a premium workhorse portable notebook that's also capable as a multimedia powerhouse. Still, other than its cost, I have some disappointments with the G7: soldered RAM, the lack of a second NVMe bay, and less-than-robust port selection may give some buyers pause. I'll get in-depth on all of these in this review.

From heavy media editing for creatives to higher-end PC gaming, the HP ZBook Studio G7 can handle a lot of heavy tasks. Despite getting a little too hot on the lap under heavy load and fan that’s pretty loud at peak levels, this is a well rounded laptop that’s stylishly sleek and solidly built.

HP: 1939 gegründet, ist das US-Unternehmen ein wichtiger Server und Druckerhersteller und eines der führenden IT-Unternehmen weltweit. Bis 2015 hieß das Unternehmen Hewlett-Packard Company. Nach einer Aufspaltung wurde der Computer-Bereich in HP Inc. umbenannt.

2023 hatte HP einen ungefähren Marktanteil von 22% am weltweiten PC-Absatz und war damit die Nummer 2 nach Lenovo.

Diese Grafikkarten sollten alle modernen Spiele flüssig darstellen können. Anspruchsvolle Spiele müssen jedoch in mittlerer Detailstufe gespielt werden. Ältere und weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie die Sims Serie können auch in hohen Detailsstufen flüssig dargestellt werden.

NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q: High-End Notebook-Grafikkarte basierend auf den selben Chip wie die Consumer GeForce RTX 2070 jedoch mit zertifizierten Treibern für professionelle Anwendungen und geringeren Taktraten und langsameren Grafikspeicher. Die Max-Q Variante ist die auf Effizienz optimierte Variante der RTX 3000 mit reduziertem TGP und Taktraten. Nach aktuellen Informationen gibt es drei Varianten mit 60, 65 und 70 Watt TGP und 600, 765 und 870 MHz Basis und 1215, 1305 und 1380 MHz Boost-Takt.

Intel Comet Lake:

i9-10885H: Auf der Comet-Lake-Architektur basierender SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für große Notebooks. Integriert unter anderem acht CPU-Kerne mit 2,4 - 5,3 GHz und HyperThreading sowie eine Grafikeinheit und wird in 14-Nanometer-Technik gefertigt. Unterstützt vPro für Business-Notebooks.

i7-10850H: Auf der Comet-Lake-Architektur basierender SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für große Notebooks. Integriert unter anderem sechs CPU-Kerne mit 2,7 - 5,1 GHz (4,4 GHz bei allen 6 Kernen) und HyperThreading sowie eine Grafikeinheit und wird in 14-Nanometer-Technik gefertigt. Der i7-10850H unterstützt die Businessfeatures vPro, TXT und SIPP.
