Das Nubia Air ist ein ultraschlankes Android 15 Smartphone, das 6,7 mm dünn Gehäuse und 172 g Gewicht mit IP68/IP69K Staub- und Wasserdichtigkeit kombiniert. Es verfügt über ein 6,78 Zoll großes AMOLED-Display mit einer Auflösung von 1224 × 2720 Pixeln, einer Bildwiederholfrequenz von 120 Hz und einer sehr hohen Spitzenhelligkeit, das durch Corning Gorilla Glass 7i geschützt und mit einem Fingerabdrucksensor unter dem Display ausgestattet ist. Im Inneren sorgt ein 6 nm Unisoc T8300 SoC mit Mali-G57 MP2 GPU für eine solide Alltagsleistung, aber nur für bescheidene 3D-Spiele. Die 50-MP-Hauptkamera und die 20-MP-Sekundärkamera zielen auf Mainstream-Fotobedürfnisse ab, während der 5000-mAh-Akku dazu beiträgt, das dünne Design mit einer guten Ausdauer auszugleichen. Anschlussausstattung umfasst Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, Dual-SIM, GPS und USB-C mit Power Delivery. In zahlreichen internationalen Testberichten erhält das Nubia Air eine Gesamtbewertung von etwa 75 %, wobei das Design und der Wert des Geräts gelobt werden, während sich die Kritik auf die Leistungsobergrenze im mittleren Bereich und die Einschränkungen für anspruchsvolle Nutzer konzentriert.

The nubia Air offers an interesting mix of design, features, and value. It’s one of the slimmest and lightest phones in its class and the IP68 rating adds durability that’s rare for this segment. Performance is decent for everyday use, and while heavy games do push the limits of its UNISOC chip, it’s still capable enough for casual gaming. The camera system is surprisingly good for its price, with usable detail and an anti-shake feature that helps keep things sharp. On the downside, the mono speaker sounds muffled and battery life could definitely be better. There’s also a lot of bloatware, and the AI features are limited to just AI Translate. Still, if you’re after a slim, lightweight phone that looks premium, handles the basics smoothly, and offers decent cameras without going over budget, the nubia Air is a pretty good option to consider.

ZTE has entered the ultra-slim smartphone category with the nubia Air, announced in September 2025. Measuring just 6.7mm thick and weighing 172g, it is impressively slim yet still durable, thanks to its IP68/IP69K rating for dust and water resistance (up to 1.5m for 30 minutes). The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, sharp 1224 × 2720 resolution (~440 ppi), and up to 4500 nits peak brightness for excellent outdoor visibility. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and it also houses an under-display optical fingerprint sensor. It runs on the 6nm Unisoc T8300 chipset. The performance is powered by an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The device runs on Android 15. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
