Der riesige Akku sorgt für Laufzeiten von bis zu einer Woche, 5G und reichlich Speicher runden das Gesamtpaket ab. Das integrierte LCD bietet eine ordentliche Auflösung, und der eingebaute Beamer macht das Gerät zur mobilen Entertainment-Lösung – ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal in dieser Klasse. Im Alltag zeigen sich jedoch klare Schwächen: Das Armor 34 Pro ist groß, schwer und passt kaum in eine Hosentasche. Der Bildschirm ist zu dunkel für den Außeneinsatz, und die Kamera überzeugt nur mit der Hauptlinse. Weitwinkel- und Selfie-Modul liefern mäßige Ergebnisse, die Nachtsichtkamera bleibt ein nettes Extra.

Euer perfektes Glamping-Smartphone: Es ist absolut unbrauchbar im täglichen Einsatz, aber gleichzeitig ein multifunktionales Monster unter den richtigen Bedingungen. Dazu gehören nicht nur ein Beamer und eine Taschenlampe mit Camping-Niveau, sondern auch eine gute Smartphone-Ausstattung, wie ein Full-HD-Bildschirm, ein fetter 25.500-mAh-Akku und ein Dimensity 7300 Prozessor. The standout feature of this design is the projector, which isn’t something that you often see on a phone or tablet. The issue here is the use case, because most hotel rooms have a TV you can stream video to, and there are plenty of assumptions to be made to use this feature for a presentation. While I can’t deny it works, it does impact battery life and finding the ideal situation to use it might prove challenging. Having seen the 30 Pro, 33 Pro, and this 34 Pro, I’ve come to the odd conclusion that the projector and the massive battery might distract from some of the core features of these designs that people will use and like. The SoC is excellent, there is plenty of memory and storage, and the cameras are decent.

Furthermore, the battery life truly shines, despite having a bulky build. But, you have to trade off a slim build, better camera quality, and many other features.
