81.3% Realme Book (Slim) Laptop Review: Performant Tiger Lake Core i3 offering with a 3:2 2K display | Notebookcheck
The Realme Book (Slim) is the company's attempt at a capable all-rounder that can handle basic office and multimedia tasks. We have the Core i3 version of the Realme Book (Slim) with us, and we test it out extensively to see whether Realme's laptop debut is worth your consideration.
Realme Book Slim Review – Best Laptop For Beginners in India
Quelle: Cashify Englisch EN→DE
Realme has established its devices across a range of price points within a few years, as well as expanding its offerings in other domains. With its new Realme Book Slim, the company has entered the Indian laptop market. You may think the laptop has an excellent set of features based on the specifications page. A 2K display, a compact profile, 65W quick charging, and a free upgrade to Windows 11. It’s worth noting, though, that the starting price tag of Rs 46,999 is for the laptop’s base model, which has a dual-core Intel Core i3 processor. Despite its MacBook-inspired look, the Realme Book Slim shines out in a crowd of laptops, which is one of the reasons I believe people would choose this laptop above others for its low pricing. Is it, however, enough to make it a good buy and convince customers to buy a first-generation product? We tried to figure it out in this Realme Book Slim review, and here is what we think.

Realme Book long term review: Very pleasantly surprised
Quelle: Soycincau Englisch EN→DE
The Realme Book faces stiff competition though in the thin-and-light space, with the Acer Swift 3 for instance priced at RM3,199 for an Intel Core i5-1135G7, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage as well. There’s also the aforementioned Huawei MateBook 14 with the same silicon too, but that will set you back even more as it’s priced at RM4,599. Of course, regardless of which laptop you end up getting, I’d highly recommend getting them only when there’s a sale, seeing as manufacturers are expected to release newer versions of these laptops soon with Intel and AMD’s latest generation of mobile processors. But going back to the Realme Book, if you do end up with one for yourself for normal usage such as word processing and some mild content creation or even light gaming on the side, you’ll likely be pretty content with it. Do I think it’s the laptop to get? Well, not exactly, as it’s slightly pricey for the silicon you’re getting, but that’s mostly because I prefer to seek out performance. If you want something with a fantastic display and good enough hardware though, the Realme Book will likely be alright for you.

80% Realme Book Slim Review
Quelle: NDTV Gadgets Englisch EN→DE
Realme clearly has the current-gen MacBook Air in its sights. The Realme Book Slim comes in at a much lower price but has a lot of the same appeal. It's highly portable and has a crisp, high-resolution screen, which is something you don't usually see in this segment. Established Windows laptop makers should also take notice – there aren't many competitors with this combination of features in an ultraportable at this price. Even recent entrant Xiaomi doesn't quite target this market, though the 2021 Mi Notebook Pro will compete with the Core i5 variant of this laptop. The large, crisp display is the main attraction here. Battery life is good, and even the seemingly modest specifications of the lower-priced variant should be enough for most students, office workers, and home users. However, the overall usage experience lacks a little polish, and Realme could have done better with the keyboard, port selection, and cooling. Potential buyers should read the fine print carefully to see what exactly they get with each variant.

Realme Book Review: Slim and Premium Laptop for Only $600
Quelle: Awaqua Englisch EN→DE
The newly minted Realme Book laptop showed itself from a very positive side, but it was not without its drawbacks, but first, let’s talk about the advantages. For example, on the positive side, I can single out the presence of high-quality assembly and good materials used in the manufacture. I also liked the presence of the blue color of the case. In general, the design parameters were very good. Other than that, I can’t get past the 14-inch IPS screen with 2K resolution. The image quality and color reproduction were very good. Also, for everyday tasks, the performance of the laptop will be enough headlong. On the plus side, I can highlight a good and responsive keyboard with three-level backlighting. But the disadvantages of the laptop model can be attributed to this lack of useful ports and connections. That is, it will definitely be necessary to purchase a USB hub for the device. I also did not like the brightness of the screen at 400 nits and the not particularly high battery life.

80% Realme Book Slim review: Compelling, but should you buy it?
Quelle: The Indian Express Englisch EN→DE
In just a few years, Realme has managed to establish its smartphones across different price points and has also ramped up offerings in other segments. The company has now entered the laptop market in India with the new Realme Book Slim. If you look at the specifications sheet, you might think that the laptop has an impressive set of features, but the real question is how does the Realme Book Slim fare in daily use? We reviewed it to find out.

86% Realme Book Review: Off To A Great Start
Quelle: Think Digit Englisch EN→DE
The Realme Book (Slim), as I mentioned earlier, is priced at Rs 44,999 in India for the base variant that we reviewed. For that price, you are getting a fantastic machine with a 2K display, a beautifully thin and light form-factor, a great keyboard and trackpad combo, and reliable performance for day-to-day workloads thanks to the 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor. The Realme Book (Slim) is arguably one of the best laptops in this price range. If you have a budget of RS 45,000 and you are not looking to bother with any resource-intensive workloads, then look no further. It's also going to be my go-to recommendation for professionals looking to buy a reliable machine for office work. Xiaomi's Mi NoteBook Pro/ Ultra comes close and they should be on your list too if you are willing to extend the budget. This is a fantastic start for Realme in the laptop space and I can't wait to see more laptops from them in the future.

Realme Book Slim review: A sleek and stable performer
Quelle: Gadgets Now Englisch EN→DE
Realme Slim Book can be your pick if you are looking for a laptop in the price range of Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000. The device comes with an 11the Generation Intel Core processor and also performs quite well. The metal design, backlit keyboard and fast charging support make it a deal clincher. It is also better as compared to the other bulky and pricey laptops available in the market.

84% Realme Book Slim Review: In A Class Of Its Own
Quelle: Gadgetbyte Nepal Englisch EN→DE
To wrap up this review, the Realme Book Slim is an absolute steal for the price—especially the i3 variant. It has an incredible display, sleek design, decent keyboard, large trackpad, loud speaker setup, notable performance, and the battery life’s not all bad either. For a sub-50K laptop, Realme has raised the bar for just how good a budget laptop can get. Yet, its biggest disadvantage is that the RAM isn’t upgradable—whereas the i5 variant feels a tad bit expensive and incompetent compared to the direct competition as well.

80% Realme Book Slim review: A sleek laptop with lots of goodness
Quelle: India Today Englisch EN→DE
Realme Book Slim is one of the most stylish and convenient laptops you can get for its price. I absolutely love the premium build quality and sleek design that make this laptop very portable. Its good looks complement the laptop, and I think they are one of the reasons customers will buy it. On top of that is an impressive display with a 2K resolution, good colours, and high brightness. The keyboard is among the best I have typed on. The performance is also good, but it has to do more with what you want to do on your laptop. And it does not have to be gaming. Battery life is also a bit underwhelming for people who are mostly on the go. If you write a lot, work on Excel sheets, or browse the internet, Realme Book Slim will not disappoint you. For an introductory price of Rs 44,999, the Realme Book Slim is a good buy.

80% Realme Book Slim (Core i3) review: a steal deal
Quelle: 91mobiles Englisch EN→DE
The Realme Book Slim starts at Rs 44,999 for the Core i3 variant and for the price, is a no-brainer. The laptop looks good, offers a fantastic display, performs well, and touts a long-lasting battery backup too. Quite frankly, the Book Slim is the easiest tech recommendation I’ve made so far in 2021. So, if you were looking for a VFM thin and light under Rs 50K, you should keep the Realme Book Slim at the top of your wishlist.

Realme Book Slim review: Tad expensive, but a whole lot better than peers
Quelle: Business Standard Englisch EN→DE
Priced at Rs 46,999, the Realme Book Slim is expensive when compared with most other 11th Gen Intel Core i3 laptops available in the market currently. However, it will not be appropriate to compare it with other laptops – because it is not like others. A debutant laptop by a non-legacy brand in the consumer PC segment, the Realme Book Slim challenges the conventions set by legacy brands, and it does so with confidence. That said, look no further if you need a laptop on budget for home and on-the-go use. The Realme Book Slim is a solid deal for its price.

76% Realme Book Slim Review: A Solid First Attempt
Quelle: Tech PP Englisch EN→DE
Despite being the first attempt at a laptop, Realme has absolutely got the basics right. You get excellent build quality, an impressive display, decent performance, and more. Yes, it’s not perfect and has its own share of shortcomings, but those issues are not big enough to sway your buying decision. Like most laptops under Rs 50,000 (USD 700), this one is meant for occasional use, such as surfing the web, watching movies and TV shows, or editing data in Microsoft Excel. If that is what you are looking for, then the Realme Book Slim makes a pretty good case for itself for the introductory price of Rs 44,999.

Intel UHD Graphics Xe G4 48EUs: Integrierte Grafikkarte (in Tiger-Lake G1 SoCs) der Gen. 12 Architektur mit 48 EUs. Z.B. in Tiger Lake i3 CPUs verbaute iGPU.
