Das Realme GT8 Pro ist das perfekte Upgrade zum GT7 Pro und lediglich beim USB-C-Standard hat der Hersteller offenbar vergessen nachzubessern. Ansonsten merzt das neueste Modell quasi alle Nachteile des Vorgängers aus und liefert im Test durch die Bank hervorragende Ergebnisse. Es gibt jetzt auch Features wie eSIM, kabelloses Laden und ein Kamera-Setup mit starken Sekundärkameras. Etwas irritierend wirkt zunächst der Preis von 1.000€, aber den hatte auch der Vorgänger und das Gerät war problemlos für ca. 600€ erhältlich. Auf diesem Zielpreis fußt auch diese Bewertung, denn 1.000€ solltet ihr nicht in einen Flagship-Killer wie das Realme GT8 Pro investieren.

Qualcomm Adreno 840: Integrierte Grafikeinheit im Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC für Smartphones mit drei Slices mit je 1,2 GHz. Laut Qualcomm um 23% schneller als die Vorgängergeneration (Adreno 830). 

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
