The Vivo iQOO 15R was announced on February 24, 2026, and is expected to release on March 1, 2026. At first look, it feels like a proper flagship with a slim 7.9 mm body and a premium build. You get a glass front, an aluminum alloy frame, and either a glass or fiber-reinforced plastic back. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, so it can handle dust, splashes, and even high-pressure water jets. The 6.59-inch AMOLED display is one of its biggest highlights. It supports 1 billion colors, a super smooth 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and an impressive 5000 nits peak brightness. The resolution of 1260 x 2750 pixels with around 459 ppi makes content look sharp and vibrant.

I have been using the iQOO 15R for close to 20 days now, and as I mentioned earlier, this phone doesn’t just exist for the sake of it; it feels deliberate. To count its pros, the iQOO 15R brings flagship-grade performance into a comfortable size. It delivers one of the best displays in its class. Battery life is excellent. The software experience is smooth. Haptics and the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor add polish. Yes, the ultra-wide camera could be better. A telephoto lens would have made more sense. USB 3.2 would have been a welcome addition. But when you step back and look at the bigger picture, for someone who wants serious performance around the Rs 50,000 price point, this phone makes a lot of sense. And with the added 8 GB + 256 GB variant at Rs 44,999, it becomes even more accessible.

Qualcomm Adreno 840: Integrierte Grafikeinheit im Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC für Smartphones mit drei Slices mit je 1,2 GHz. Laut Qualcomm um 23% schneller als die Vorgängergeneration (Adreno 830). 

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
