EN→DEYes. If you want a new, high-end foldable phone, the Honor Magic V6 is 100% worth your time. Its strengths are many: the classy design, the top-notch hardware, the impressive camera system… It’s a high-end foldable phone with character.

EN→DEThe Magic V6 feels like Honor refining a formula that was already working well. It does not try to reinvent the book-style foldable, but it improves on the parts that matter most. The design still has personality, the ergonomics are excellent, the displays are strong, and the battery is genuinely standout for this category. The main and telephoto cameras are also better than what many people might expect from a foldable, which helps round out the overall package.

EN→DEThe HONOR Magic V6 is a genuinely impressive foldable that represents the brand’s best work to date. The IP68 and IP69 ratings, the slim and lightweight form factor, the two excellent displays, the long-term software support commitment, the strong battery life, and the genuinely useful HONOR Connect feature for Apple device users collectively make a compelling case.

EN→DEAll in all, the Honor Magic V6 is a pleasant foldable smartphone that meets the bare minimum in premium expectations, and its shortcomings are few. We liked its notification compatibility with Apple devices and its beautiful double-Ds (D for displays). The Magic V6 has to bet big on locking in on its biggest fans. That said, those fans would be very happy to own one, as the Honor Magic V6 is easily the best foldable smartphone it has managed thus far. It’s just a bad time to be a lover of technology today.

EN→DEI've just gotten my hands with a review unit, and will be looking forward to testing the other features announced at Mobile World Congress, such as the ability to access iCloud or use it as a second screen for a MacBook. These should be interesting for those who mainly use Apple products, but want to try out an Android phone and are worried about switching ecosystems. Pricing and availability have not yet been revealed, but the Honor Magic V6 will come in four colours: Red, white, gold, and black. My test unit is the gold version, and is particularly striking. I also managed to get a feel of the red unit, which looks and feels like alcantara with a felt-like leathery texture. My gold version, on the other hand, feels metallic and solid.

EN→DEHonor has found a knack for making high-quality handsets with all the things people really want. Long battery life, super camera systems, easy to use interfaces. And, with the Magic V6, it's done all that in a foldable, without any of the regional issues that have stopped UK and European consumers from getting their hands on the Huawei and Samsung models. There is still a little wait for the Honor Magic V6. We will update this review with benchmarks and full opinions when it comes out fully. But our first impression is that this will likely be the best foldable device around.

EN→DEThe Honor Magic V6 is shaping up to be a powerhouse in the foldable phone market, blending cutting-edge technology with a surprisingly sleek design. When folded, it feels like a regular, albeit slightly thick, smartphone with its 6.52-inch cover display, but unfold it to reveal a spacious 7.95-inch inner screen that feels like a mini-tablet. Honor Magic v6 has paid close attention to durability here, equipping both displays with anti-reflective coating and specialized armor, the Super Armored Inner Screen and the Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield on the cover.

EN→DEThere’s no doubt about it: Honor is consistently beating its rivals to the punch. With Samsung currently lagging behind by almost every metric, it’ll be interesting to see how the Z Fold 8 stacks up when that eventually emerges later this year, but for now at least, it’s clear that Honor is intent on – and on the cusp of – dominating the foldable space. The question is simply: Can the Honor Magic V6 handle the heat?

Unboxing the Honor Magic V6, possibly the best foldable phone of 2026 - depending on the OPPO Find N6 and Samsung Z Fold 8, of course. This hands-on tour shows off the design and specs of the Honor Magic V6, with a review of the camera tech, battery life and gaming chops incoming. While most of the marketing seems to revolve around that slender design, there's plenty more going on with this folding phone. For one, it's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the battery capacity has been boosted so it's even bigger. You've even got faster charging support to compensate. And those aren't the only upgrades for the Honor Magic V6. The big-screen experience is more enjoyable these days with MagicOS 10, while the crease is even more subtle. Factor in a few other improvements and the Honor Magic V6 looks to be a proper banger.

The Honor Magic V6 is here, and I've been using it for two weeks as my main phone. But this is not a review, instead it is a hands-on. Still, I put the phone through its paces and took quite lot of samples. The Magic V6 has a larger 6,660 mAh battery, and a slightly thinner body. The camera system remains mostly unchanged from last generation, but the software processing is a bit more mature.
