Das Redmagic 11S Pro ist ein Gaming-Smartphone, das kompromisslos auf Höchstleistung getrimmt ist. Gegenüber dem 11 Pro legt es nochmals minimal zu, in den Benchmarks bleibt der Mehrwert aber überschaubar. Im Spielbetrieb überzeugt das große, notchfreie AMOLED-Display mit 144 Hz. Der aktive Lüfter bleibt zwar nicht übermäßig laut, nervt aber bisweilen und treibt den Energieverbrauch spürbar nach oben. Auch bei der Software-Pflege schwächelt Nubia: Zwei große Android-Upgrades sind heute zu wenig.

Für den Preis von 799€ für die kleine beziehungsweise 899€ für die größere Speicherausstattung erhaltet ihr sehr viel Smartphone, und vorallem immens Leistung. Allerdings hat RedMagic den Preis auch ordentlich angehoben, vergleicht man es mit dem RedMagic 10 Pro (zum Test) oder auch dem direkten Vorgänger, dem RedMagic 10S Pro (zum Test). Und auch das RedMagic 11 Pro (zum Test) ruft 100€ weniger auf. Solange das so bleibt, ist das RedMagic 11S Pro ein Halo-Produkt, um sich die Benchmark-Krone zu holen.

The RedMagic 11S Pro is a further optimised version of the already great RedMagic 11 Pro with immense, flagship-grade performance, solid battery life, and a bright, detailed and zippy screen. It is a fair bit dearer than its predecessors at £709/$849, though, and the dual 50MP camera array isn’t up to snuff for a phone at this price. The normal RedMagic 11 Pro has a lot of the same fundamentals as this 11S Pro, and gives you a similar result for a little bit less in terms of money – it’s only the real power users who will benefit from the extra performance by its overclocked SoC. The new Honor 600 Pro is a more rounded choice at a little bit of a higher price tag, with a much stronger camera system, similarly solid battery life and less polarising looks, although it doesn’t have as much grunt under the hood. This is the best (and pretty much only) gamer smartphone right now, although the RedMagic 11s Pro's overclocked chipset is almost the only upgrade vs the 11. I've been testing this absolute unit for a few weeks now so here's my review, with thoughts on the battery life, gaming performance and more. Please do subscribe for more on the latest and greatest tech! As well as the best-in-class battery life, the main draw of this beefy smartphone is that performance. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition replaces the original platform, to power through the likes of Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact and other favourites. Plus the RedMagic 11s Pro sports that same liquid cooling as the original Red Magic 11 Pro - plus some liquid metal surround for the processor. Other specs remain mostly the same, from the battery capacity to the full-view display. So if you already have the old gen, no need to upgrade in 2026.
