But when it comes to the convertible function, the machine works fine, as the hinge is very flexible and resistant. In terms of performance, the computer is quite efficient for most common tasks and some gaming, and when you set it up with the included docking station, you’ve got yourself a full fledged desktop computer.

More, it comes with a docking station and a DVD drive, covering basically many of the needs of the modern user. The hardware is not bad either, even if instead of the Core i5 it would have been nice to see something like i7. Performance is largely good, although the battery life is kind of worrying if you want some autonomy, but if you’ll use it mainly at home, it shouldn’t be a problem.

NVIDIA GeForce 310M: Die GeForce 310M ist die Nachfolgerkarte der G 210M und technisch nur durch 30MHz mehr Shadertakt verschieden. Es gibt jedoch auch Versionen mit einem geringeren Kerntakt von 606 MHz.
Diese Karten können nur sehr alte und sehr anspruchslose 3D Spiele flüssig darstellen. Anwendungen wie Office, Internet surfen, Bildbearbeitung oder (SD) Videoschnitt sind jedoch ohne große Einschränkungen möglich.

470UM:
Der Core i5-470UM ist ein sehr sparsamer Ultra Low Voltage Prozessor mit Turbo Boost (max 1.86 GHz mit einem Kern). AES, VT-d und Trusted Execution Funktionen sind jedoch deaktiviert (Unterschied zu dem i5-540UM und i7 UM CPUs). Dank Hyperthreading werden bis zu 4 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeitet. Im Package ist auch noch eine integrierte Grafikkarte (GMA HD mit 166-500 MHz) und ein Speichercontroller für DDR3 800.
